THERMAL INSULATION WINDOW FILM
An object is to provide a thermal insulation window film that can be easily attached to a window and does not leave an adhesive on the window when removed. The thermal insulation window film comprises one or more principal-component resins selected from the group consisting of a vinyl chloride resin, an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer resin, an ethylene methacrylic acid copolymer resin, a polyurethane resin, a polyacrylic resin, and a polyester resin, and a plasticizer, wherein the attached state of the film is maintained via a viscous material resulting from a mixture of the principal-component resin and the plasticizer.

Electrophotographic varnish composition
An electrophotographic varnish composition that comprises, in a liquid carrier, a polymeric resin; an epoxy-based cross-linking agent, a mono-epoxy diluent and a metal catalyst and/or a photo-initiator. Also described herein is a method for making such electrophotographic varnish composition.
COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING COPOLYMER FORMULATIONS FOR IMPROVING ADHESION TO LOW SURFACE ENERGY SUBSTRATES
A composition intended for application to a low surface energy substrate has added thereto an amount of a copolymer formulation in order to improve the quality of adhesion between the composition and the low surface energy substrate, substrates being coated with such compositions, and associated methods.
Cross-linkable acid copolymer composition and its use in glass laminates
Provided herein are glass laminates, preferably safety glass laminates, that comprise a polymeric interlayer sheet formed of an acid copolymer composition. The acid copolymer composition comprises an ethylene acid copolymer which, in turn, comprises copolymerized units of ethylene, about 5 to about 90 wt % of copolymerized units of a first ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3 to 10 carbon atoms; and optionally about 2 to about 40 wt % of copolymerized units of a derivative of a second ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3 to 10 carbon atoms. Optionally, a portion of the carboxylic acid groups of the copolymerized units of the ethylene acid copolymer are neutralized to form carboxylate salts. The acid copolymer composition also includes a hydroxyl-containing crosslinking agent and may also include an adjuvant. The glass laminates have superior resistance to creeping due to the properties of the acid copolymer composition, which may optionally be cross-linked.
LOW DENSITY ETHYLENE-BASED POLYMERS WITH HIGH MELT STRENGTH
The invention provides a composition comprising a first ethylene-based polymer, formed by a high pressure, free-radical polymerization process, and comprising the following properties: a) a Mw(abs) versus I2 relationship: Mw(abs)<A[(I2).sup.B], where A=5.0010.sup.2 (g/mole)/(dg/min).sup.B, and B=0.40; and b) a MS versus I2 relationship: MSC[(I2).sup.D], where C=13.5 cN/(dg/min).sup.D, and D=0.55.

Curable Coating Composition and Packaging Coated with the Same
A curable coating composition comprising a latex having a reactive functional group and phosphorus acid is disclosed; the coating can be substantially free of crosslinker. Such a coating on a package is also disclosed.
EXTRUSION SINGLE LAYER COATINGS
The present invention pertains to polymer compositions for extrusion coating of metal sheets, to a method of producing a coated metal sheet using such a polymer composition, to coated metal sheets obtainable in such a method, and to the use of such coated metal sheets for the production of food or beverage containers, preferably beverage cans.
AQUEOUS COATING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to an aqueous coating composition. The aqueous coating composition comprises (a) a polymer A comprising units derived from an alpha-olefin and one or more comonomers selected from the group of methacrylates, acrylates, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, maleates, maleic acid, maleic anhydride, and salts thereof; (b) a polymer B comprising units derived from one or more monomers selected from the group of methacrylates, acrylates, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, maleates, maleic acid, maleic anhydride, and salts thereof; (c) a calcium carbonate-containing material in an amount in the range of 0.1 to below 20 wt. %, based on the total dry weight of the coating composition; and (d) optionally a wax. Furthermore, the invention relates to a process for preparing an aqueous coating composition according to invention, and to a coated article.
