DUAL LAP HIGH STRENGTH ADHESIVE FOR SHEET MEMBRANE APPLICATION, HAVING REFLECTIVITY GRANULAR PARTICLE LAYER TO FULLY BOND TO CONCRETE/SHOTCRETE, AND A METHOD OF MAKING, AND USING SAME
A dual lap high strength adhesive for sheet membrane application, having reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with an inventive high strength adhesive, and having at least one layer of reflectivity granular particle layer that are partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is below 55 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The innovative reflectivity granular particle layer system that is securely bonded to concrete or shotcrete can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The inventive high strength adhesive is along at least one edge of the sheet membrane, and could also be used to embed the reflectivity granular particle.
Web with adhesive layer having partially embedded filaments
An adhesive-backed film with an adhesive layer having thermoplastic or thermoset filaments partially projecting therefrom, to promote fluid egress and repositionability.
Double-sided tape and display device including the same
A double-sided tape including: a first adhesive layer including about 100 parts by weight of an acrylic polymer, about 1 to about 2 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent, and about 0.1 to about 0.18 parts by weight of carbon black; a foamed polymer layer disposed on the first adhesive layer, including a urethane foam; an interlayer polymer layer disposed on the foamed polymer layer, including a polyolefin (PO), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a polyester, or a combination thereof; and a second adhesive layer disposed on the interlayer polymer layer, including about 100 parts by weight of an acrylic polymer, about 1 to about 2 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent, and about 0.1 to about 0.18 parts by weight of carbon black, wherein an overall thickness of the double-sided tape is in a range of about 0.4 millimeters to about 1.3 millimeters.
Protective film
A protective film 10 of the present invention includes a base material layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and is used by being attached to a resin substrate 21 at the time of performing heat bending on the resin substrate 21. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer contains a polyolefin having a melting point of lower than 125° C. The base material layer has a first layer which contains a polyolefin having a melting point of 150° C. or higher, and a second layer which contains an adhesive resin. In a case of heating the protective film 100 having such a configuration, in a state of being interposed between two attaching substrates which are formed of polycarbonate, at 145° C. for 30 minutes, peeling off one attaching substrate on the side of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer at 25° C., and then viewing a surface of the one attaching substrate in a plan view, a residual ratio of an area where the pressure sensitive adhesive layer remains is 5% or less.
ADHESIVE PRIMERS AND ARTICLES INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are adhesive articles that include a silicone adhesive and a substrate, with a primer layer interposed between the silicone adhesive and the substrate. The primer layer includes a polymer having a polyorganosiloxane pendant group P represented by the formula (I) where each R.sup.1 is independently an alkyl, haloalkyl, arylalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or aryl substituted with an alkyl, alkoxy, or halo; R2 is an alkyl or an alkenyl group; R3 is an alkylene or an arylalkylene group; and n is an integer in the range of 1 to 20. The primer layer typically improves the adhesion between the silicone adhesive and a wide variety of substrates.

CROSSLINKED POLYOLEFIN RESIN FOAM, ADHESIVE TAPE, LAYERED BODY, MOLDING, AND DISPLAY MEMBER
A cross-linked polyolefin resin foam of the present invention has a total light transmittance and a thickness that satisfy a predetermined condition, and has a reflection color difference Δ* of −10 to 16, a reflection color difference Δa* of −3 to 3, and a reflection color difference ΔL* of 50 or more. According to the present invention, there can be provided a cross-linked polyolefin resin foam that can suppress a change in color tone of transmitted light while ensuring transparency, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, layered product, formed product, and display member that include such a cross-linked polyolefin resin foam.
DOUBLE PASS PROCESS OF MAKING A SELF ADHERING ROOFING MEMBRANE WITH IMPROVED ADHESION AT LOWER INSTALLATION TEMPERATURE
A self-adhering roofing membrane may include a polymeric membrane. The roofing membrane may include a first adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the polymeric membrane. The first adhesive layer may include one or both of a hot melt adhesive and a butyl rubber-based adhesive. The roofing membrane may include a UV curable adhesive layer disposed on the first adhesive layer. The UV curable adhesive layer may have a thickness of less than about 4 mils.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device according to an embodiment includes: a display panel; a window on a side of the display panel; a protection member on another side of the display panel;
