POLYOLEFIN ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS FOR ELASTIC APPLICATIONS
The present invention is related to an article comprising a substrate, having at least one propylene terpolymer comprising propylene derived units, one or more dienes, and an alpha-olefin content of less than about 35 wt % of the propylene terpolymer; and an adhesive composition, having about 20 to about 80 wt % of a polymer blend comprising a first propylene-based polymer, that is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C.sub.4 to C.sub.10 alpha-olefin, and a second propylene-based polymer, that is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C.sub.4 to C.sub.10 alpha-olefin; wherein the second propylene-based polymer is different than the first propylene-based polymer; and wherein the adhesive composition is applied to the substrate at temperature of less than about 150 C.
POLYPROPYLENE FABRIC AND FABRIC TREATING METHOD
A polypropylene fabric woven from a plurality of polypropylene fibers comprises a first surface and a second surface, at least one of the first surface and the second surface is treated with electro-optical treatment.
RECYCLABLE GRAPHIC MEDIA
A recyclable graphic media includes a polymeric substrate having a first side and a second side, a release liner, and an adhesive applied to release liner. The adhesive is disposed between the release liner and the substrate. The adhesive is dissolvable from the substrate such that the substrate can be recycled. The recyclable graphic media can be a floor graphic. A release liner having a release material and an adhesive applied to the release material is also disclosed.
Adhesive tape and method for jacketing elongated items, especially leads
The invention relates to an adhesive tape for jacketing elongated items such as more particularly leads or cable sets, comprising a tapelike carrier provided on at least one side with a curable adhesive, characterized in that the adhesive tape is further provided on one side of the tapelike carrier with a release layer of carbamate.
Protection tape and manufacturing method thereof
A protection tape includes a base film, an antistatic layer and an adhesive layer. The antistatic layer is located on the base film. The surface impedance of the antistatic layer is less than 1E+9?, and the antistatic layer includes a first resin and conductive materials dispersed in the first resin. The conductive materials include at least one of metal ions and carbon. The adhesive layer is located on a corona treated surface of the base film. The protection tape provided by the present disclosure has the advantage of having resistant to corona treatment.
ADHESIVE TAPE
A substrate 2 of an adhesive tape 1 includes a mesh structure made of thermoplastic resin. The mesh structure has a structure in which multiple first fibers drawn in a first direction corresponding to a length direction of the adhesive tape and multiple second fibers drawn in a second direction corresponding to a width direction of the adhesive tape are layered or woven. (a) A first fiber has a thickness of 0.04 mm or less, and a width of 0.6 mm or less, (b) a second fiber has a thickness greater than that of the first fiber, and a width greater than or equal to that of the first fiber, (c) the mesh structure has a tensile strength in the first direction of from 130 to 250 N/50 mm, (d) the mesh structure has a bending resistance in the first direction obtained by a cantilever test of from 40 to 80 mm, and (e) the mesh structure has a bending resistance in the second direction obtained by the cantilever test of from 65 to 95 mm.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN FILM AND ADHESIVE LABEL
Provided are a thermoplastic resin film and an adhesive label including the thermoplastic resin film as a substrate excellent not only in transparency but also in indication visibility. The thermoplastic resin film of the present invention includes, in the following order, a printable layer (II), a substrate layer (I) and an adhesive-processing layer (III), wherein the substrate layer (I) comprises 60 to 99.5% by mass of a crystalline polypropylene resin and 0.5 to 40% by mass of a petroleum resin, and an internal haze of the thermoplastic resin film is less than 15%.
REMOVABLE ADHESIVE FOR DEVICE COVERINGS
The present disclosure provides example differential adhesive systems, which may be used with various device covers. An example differential adhesive comprises an intermediary body having a first side and an opposite second side, a first adhesive layer attached to the first side, and a second adhesive layer attached to the second side. The first adhesive layer comprises an acrylic adhesive, and the second adhesive layer comprises a rubber adhesive secured to the plastic article. In some embodiments, the intermediary body comprises a polyester film. The acrylic adhesive of the first adhesive layer may comprise a cross-linked pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and include a peel adhesion of approximately 40 ounces per inch to approximately 60 ounces per inch. The first adhesive layer is may be configured for releasable attachment to the surface of the first object. The second adhesive layer may be configured for permanent attachment to the plastic article.
