Multi-Component Solid Epoxy Proppant Binder Resins
Methods and materials for sand control in water injection sites are disclosed. Proppant particles may be coated with some particles coated with a solid epoxy and other proppant particles coated with a solid epoxy curative (such as amine, hydroxyl, carboxyl, anhydride) that would bind the particles through an epoxy reaction. The invention may be advantageous for forming underground structures useful in the extraction of hydrocarbons.
ELASTOMER ALLOY FOR INTELLIGENT SAND MANAGEMENT
An elastomer alloy includes a base polymer including hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) and at least one secondary polymer, which is at least one of paraffin wax, low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and a plastomer. The base polymer and the at least one secondary polymer are blended into a polymer matrix. The elastomer alloy also includes a plurality of smart fillers dispersed within the polymer matrix, at least one chemical foaming agent, and a curing activator.
Embedded treatment fluid additives for use in subterranean formation operations
The present disclosure relates to subterranean formation operations and, more particularly, to embedded treatment fluid additives for use in subterranean formation operations. The embedded treatment additives may comprise an aqueous-soluble downhole reactive material embedded in a crosslinked polymeric solution to delay the reactivity of the aqueous-soluble downhole reactive material, thereby forming the embedded treatment additive, wherein the aqueous-soluble downhole reactive material is a solid.
Methods of using superabsorbent polymers for fracturing and sand control applications
A method of treating a subterranean formation comprises forming a storable aqueous suspension comprising a carrier fluid, a superabsorbent polymer, a proppant the proppant being suspended in the carrier fluid as a substantially perfectly supported particulate; diluting the storable aqueous suspension in-line to a desired concentration; and introducing the diluted storable aqueous suspension into the subterranean formation. A sand control method is also disclosed.
Methods of controlling fines migration in a well
A method of treating a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore comprises introducing into the subterranean formation a treatment fluid comprising encapsulated particles having a core of a crosslinking agent and a shell of a chitosan encapsulant disposed on the core; releasing the crosslinking agent from the encapsulated particles with an acid; reacting the released crosslinking agent with the chitosan encapsulant or a derivative thereof forming a polymerized chitosan; and consolidating a plurality of particles in the subterranean formation with the polymerized chitosan.
TREATMENT FLUIDS CONTAINING DEGRADABLE FIBERS GRAFTED WITH A CROSSLINKER
Treatment fluid compositions that include a carrier fluid, a crosslinkable polymer, one or more degradable fibers grafted with a crosslinking moiety capable of crosslinking the crosslinkable polymer, and optionally a proppant or gravel. Methods and systems for treating a subterranean wellbore or formation using the grafted degradable fiber treatment fluids are further provided. The presently disclosed treatment fluids may be suitable for use as hydraulic fracturing treatment fluids, gravel packing treatment fluids, or fluid diversion treatment fluids.
FILLING MATERIAL FOR UNDERGROUND TREATMENT, UNDERGROUND TREATMENT METHOD AND FILLING WELL WALL METHOD
The present invention provides a filling material for underground treatment, which has excellent swelling performance, is effective in preventing phenomena such as lost circulation, and has improved workability of filling a well drilled part with the filling material. The filling material for underground treatment of the present invention contains at least one polyvinyl alcohol-based resin of a modified polyvinyl alcohol-based resin and an unmodified polyvinyl alcohol, and a swelling ratio of the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin after immersion in water at a temperature of 80 C. for 30 minutes is 250% to 900%.

The invention may be advantageous for forming underground structures useful in the extraction of hydrocarbons.
Treatment fluids comprising recycled drilling cuttings and method of use
A method that includes providing a treatment fluid having an aqueous base fluid and ground drilling cuttings and placing the treatment fluid in a subterranean formation.
Delayed Release of Resin Curing Agent
A variety of systems, methods and compositions are disclosed for delayed release of a resin curing agent. An example method may comprise introducing a treatment fluid comprising a resin and delayed release curing agent particulates into a subterranean formation, wherein the delayed release curing agent particulates comprises a carrier, a curing agent disposed on the carrier, and a coating; degrading the coating; and curing the resin in the subterranean formation.
