A therapeutic device such as an eye mask or compress for delivery of moist heat therapy to a body part such as an eye of a human or animal subject. Example devices are configured to be worn with one or more eye coverage portions positioned over the subject's eye(s). The eye coverage portions have a front side configured for placement against the treated body part, and a back side opposite the front side. The eye coverage portions include recesses or retracted sections configured to be positioned over the wearer's cornea area. The shell of the eye coverage portions may further incorporate antimicrobial properties.

A dry eye treatment device and method including a pliable thermal pack engageable upon a first side of a vibration ring is provided. The vibration ring has a second side adapted for positioning on the face of a user to communicate vibration to the eyelids of a user from the vibration ring, and heat or cold from a bulging portion of the thermal pack communicating through a pair of openings in the vibration ring. A cover forming a cavity on the face of the user to house the vibration ring and the thermal pack may also be employed.

An improved therapeutic roller device comprising a cylindrical core and roller members originating from said cylindrical core. The roller members are separated, from each other, by a distance that is intended to generate lateral stretch on a muscle or other soft tissue. The amount of lateral stretch placed on a muscle, or other soft tissue, is proportional to the distance between roller elements up to a maximum distance at which lateral stretch can no longer be achieved. The diameter of the roller members determines the amount of longitudinal stretch placed on a muscle or other soft tissue. Additional longitudinal stretch is attained by ribbing of the roller members so that the roller members have projections. The length of the projections and distance between subsequent projections determine the extent of additional longitudinal stretch that can be placed on a muscle or other soft tissue.

The invention provides the user with moist heat long enough to provide therapy to both breasts individually, before nursing and/or pumping. The present invention is filled with dried lavender buds in addition to the whole flaxseed. The flaxseed provides the moist heat (when warmed in microwave), and the dried lavender buds provides relaxation aromatherapy to the mother and baby. Relaxation can help the mother release milk easier, and can help the baby soothe and latch easier. The product is designed so the middle is open to protect the mother's nipple while providing therapy to her breast. Finally, the present invention has a microwavable, removable and machine washable cover. This allows for easy cleaning and usage. The cover does not need to be removed when warming the product in the microwave.

A hand therapy kit includes hand therapy modules and a housing having defined receptacles in which the hand therapy modules are removably disposed. A module presence sensor is disposed in each receptacle to detect the presence or absence of the corresponding hand therapy module. A microprocessor disposed in the hand therapy kit sends the module presence sensor data to a remote computer that analyzes the module presence sensor data to determine whether the patient is complying with a prescribed treatment regimen. The remote computer can generate warnings, alerts, and/or notifications when noncompliance is detected.
