A therapeutic mask system for treatment of the eyes, including a mask portion for attachment to the head of a patient and an eye coverage pod that is detachably coupled to the mask portion. The mask portion can include an eye coverage portion having a receiver in which the eye coverage pod is releasably secured. Alternatively, the therapeutic mask system includes a mask strap and the eye coverage pod is directly secured to the mask strap. The eye coverage pod includes material for delivering thermal, moisture and/or medication therapy and treatment to the eye. The therapeutic mask system can also include a heat-transmissive treatment pad positioned between the pod and the eye of the user.

An apparatus includes a flexible frame, a coupling portion, and an insulating portion. The flexible frame is configured to support a thermal therapeutic member and is transitioned between a first configuration and a second configuration to place the therapeutic member in substantially continuous contact with a target portion of the body. The coupling portion is coupled to the flexible frame and is transitioned from a first configuration to a second configuration to retain the flexible frame in its second configuration. The insulating portion is transitioned from a first configuration to a second configuration to be coupled to the flexible frame. The insulating portion at least partially controls a transfer of thermal energy between the thermal therapeutic member and the target portion of the body.

Disclosed are stationary massage device, system and methods for self-administrated or assisted soft tissue strain release (including trigger point therapy, strain-and-counterstrain therapy and neuromuscular release). The massage device comprises a body, wherein the body may include branches, each having flat surfaces, edges, ridges or corners. The surfaces, edges and ridges may be pushed along the myofilament direction of the soft tissues to produce pressing, rubbing, stretching and pulling actions on the soft tissues as stripping massages. The system can be configured to form different geometric shapes, and made of different materials of different firmness. In addition to being used alone, the system can be mounted on a piece of wall, a standing frame, furniture or a garment.

A hand therapy kit includes a housing having a lid that is expandable from a folded position to an unfolded position to expose a working surface on an inside of the lid. An elastic cord is attached at two or more anchor points on the working surface to define at least one gap for receiving a finger. The finger can be therapeutically exercised by moving from a first position proximal to the working surface to a second position distal to the working surface. The disclosure concerns an improved system for administering moisture therapy to a patient, the system including: a conventional moisture therapy compress, and a therapeutically adaptive cover configured to contain the conventional moisture therapy compress and further adapted to communicate a therapeutic delivery of hot or cold moisture through a fluid permeable material to a treatment site of a patient. The therapeutically adaptive cover communicates hot or cold moisture therapy while isolating the compress from the treatment site, allowing for re-use of the compress by way of replacing the cover, or washing the cover prior to subsequent use for maintaining optimum sterility and cleanliness. A dry eye treatment device and method including a pliable thermal pack engageable upon a first side of a vibration ring is provided. The vibration ring has a second side adapted for positioning on the eyelid of a user to communicate vibration thereto from the vibration ring and heat or cold from a bulging portion of the thermal pack communicating through a central opening of the vibration ring. A cover forming a cavity on the face of the user to house the vibration ring and the thermal pack may also be employed.
