A color conversion sheet includes at least a color conversion layer, a color conversion layer, a resin layer, and a base layer, the color conversion layer contains a light-emitting material (a) that exhibits light emission with a peak wavelength observed in a region of 500 nm or more and less than 580 nm, the color conversion layer contains a light-emitting material (b) that exhibits light emission with a peak wavelength observed in a region of 580 nm to 750 nm, a haze value of the color conversion sheet is 20% to 90%, and n.sub.A1, n.sub.A2 and n.sub.B satisfy relationships (1) or (2), where n.sub.A1 is a refractive index of the color conversion layer, n.sub.A2 is a refractive index of the color conversion layer, and n.sub.B is a refractive index of the resin layer:

Provided are a color conversion composition which contains at least one kind of compound represented by a specific general formula, a compound which is used in the color conversion composition and represented by a specific general formula, and a light emitting device which has a color conversion portion consisting of the color conversion composition and a light source.

A low dimerizing electrochromic compound for use in electrochromic mediums and electro-optic elements incorporating said electrochromic mediums is provided. The low dimerizing electrochromic compound is represented by Formula (I): ##STR00001##

Color conversion film, method for producing same, back-light unit and display apparatus
The invention described in the present specification relates to a color conversion film including a resin matrix; and an organic fluorescent substance dispersed in the resin matrix, and absorbing blue or green light and emitting light having a wavelength different from the absorbing light, wherein the resin matrix includes a thermoplastic resin, and the color conversion film has a light emission peak with a FWHM of 60 nm or less, quantum efficiency of 80% or greater and an absorption coefficient of 30,000 M.sup.−1cm.sup.−1 or greater at a maximum absorption wavelength when irradiating light having a light emission peak at 450 nm, a FWHM of 40 nm or less and monomodal light emission intensity distribution, a method for preparing the same, and a backlight unit including the color conversion film.
