Targeted Temperature Management Systems, Pads, and Methods Thereof
Disclosed herein are systems, pads, and methods thereof for targeted temperature management. A system, for example, can include a control module and a pad. The pad can include a multilayered pad body and one or more comfort-enhancing features integrated into the pad for mitigating or eliminating skin irritation along at least edges of the pad. The multilayered pad body can include a conduit layer, an impermeable film over the conduit layer, and an adherable layer over the impermeable film. The conduit layer can include one or more conduits configured to convey a fluid through the conduit layer. The impermeable film can be configured to retain the fluid in the conduit layer when the fluid is conveyed through the conduit layer. The adherable layer can be configured to adhere to a body portion of a patient. Methods of the systems and pads can include methods of use.
System for Treatment of Eye Conditions
A dry eye treatment device and method including a pliable thermal pack engageable upon a first side of a vibration ring is provided. The vibration ring has a second side adapted for positioning on the face of a user to communicate vibration to the eyelids of a user from the vibration ring, and heat or cold from a bulging portion of the thermal pack communicating through a pair of openings in the vibration ring. A cover forming a cavity on the face of the user to house the vibration ring and the thermal pack may also be employed.
Soft Border for Targeted Temperature Management
Disclosed herein is an apparatus and system directed to providing for a patients comfort while undergoing Targeted Temperature Management (TTM). A medical pad with the TTM can include a flexible upper sheet, a flexible base member, an adhesive surface, and an edge guard. The flexible base member can be interconnected to the flexible upper sheet to define a fluid containing layer including a plurality of tortuous fluid flow paths. The adhesive surface can be disposed on a skin-contacting side of the flexible upper sheet, and can be adapted for releasable adhesive contact with skin of the patient. The edge guard can include a pliant shock-absorbent material surrounding a portion of an edge of the flexible upper sheet, and can be configured to distribute pressure from the medical pad across a portion of the patients body in contact with a surface of the edge guard.
Smart cooling paste
A smart cooling system is disclosed. The smart cooling system includes: a cooling system body and a temperature sensing module, a touch display module and a control module. The cooling system body includes a carrier and a gel layer located on the carrier. The temperature sensing module, the touch display module and the control module are fixed on the carrier. A sensing surface of the temperature sensing module and a surface of the gel layer away from the carrier are in a same plane, for sensing temperature of forehead. The control module is used for obtaining a sensed temperature and transmitting the sensed temperature to the touch display module. A screen of the touch display module is located on a surface of the carrier away from the gel layer.
System for treatment of eye conditions
A dry eye treatment device and method including a pliable thermal pack engageable upon a first side of a vibration ring is provided. The vibration ring has a second side adapted for positioning on the eyelid of a user to communicate vibration thereto from the vibration ring and heat or cold from a bulging portion of the thermal pack communicating through a central opening of the vibration ring. A cover forming a cavity on the face of the user to house the vibration ring and the thermal pack may also be employed.
A Bag
This invention relates to a bag. More particularly, the invention relates to a sling-type wearable bag having a waterproof pocket (12) for receiving a heat source, (i.e. a hot water bottle) therein, and a hand-warming pocket (30) located therein between the waterproof pocket and a layer (20, 22) of heat reflecting and/or insulating material.
COLD COMPRESSION DEVICE
A cold compression device has a driving assembly, a tank, a wrap assembly, and a tube assembly. The driving assembly includes a water pump and an air pump. The wrap assembly has a wrap, a water pack in the wrap, and an air pack in the wrap and overlapped on the water pack. The tube assembly has a first tube, a second tube, a third tube, and a fourth tube. The first tube connects the tank and the water pump. The second tube connects the water pump and the water pack. The third tube communicates with the water pack and the tank. The fourth tube connects the air pump and the air pack. Thus, as the first tube is detachable from and put out of the tank, the water pump may draw air into the water pack, which discharges the water in the water pack thoroughly.

Cervical orthotic cushion and techniques
Techniques for a cervical orthotic device are provided. In an example, the device can include a base, sidewalls extending upwardly from the base, and a cervical support surface opposite the base and configured to unite the sidewalls. In certain examples, the sidewalls can include opposingly paired lateral sidewalls and first and second longitudinal sidewalls. In some examples, the cervical support surface can include a first planar portion adjacent the first longitudinal sidewall, a second planar portion adjacent the second longitudinal sidewall, and an arcuate portion intermediate the planar portions.
