Additive formulation and method of using same
A fuel additive formulation, method of use, and method of producing the fuel additive formulation are described. The fuel additive of the present disclosure comprises a mixture of nitroparaffins comprising nitropropane and nitromethane, a lubricant, and an aromatic hydrocarbon. The fuel additive formulation is substantially free of nitroethane. The combustion in an internal combustion engine of a fuel containing the additive results in reduced emissions relative to the combustion of a fuel not containing the additive.
Lubricity additive for fuel with a low sulphur content
The invention relates to a lubricity additive for fuel, particularly for diesel fuel, directly obtained from the acidification of a soapstock produced by a method for refining at least one vegetable and/or animal oil. The lubricity additive according to the invention is more specifically used for fuels that have a low sulfur content, for example, lower than 500 ppm (by weight).

AMINE SALTS FOR USE IN GASOLINE ENGINES
Fuel compositions comprising at least 10 ppm by weight of a succinic ester acid amine salt or a succinamide acid amine salt (both amine salt(s)). The amine salt is the product of (a) and (b), wherein: (a) is an amine with (i) at least one tertiary nitrogen and (ii) at least one hydroxy alkyl functional group and/or at least one secondary amine functionality; and (b) is a hydrocarbyl-substituted succinic acid/or anhydride. The molar ratio of (a) to (b) may range from 3:1 to 1:3. The fuel composition may comprise gasoline, oxygenate, or mixtures thereof.
