METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR OBTAINING CLINICAL SAMPLES
Methods for obtaining a sample from a subject include providing a sample collection room within a retail store or physician's office; and obtaining a sample. Methods for analyzing a sample include providing a sample collection room within a retail store or physician's office; obtaining a sample; and analyzing it. A waiting room; a bathroom; and a pass-through from bathroom to sample collection room may be provided. Sample collection rooms may include a warming table; a warming plate; a finger warmer; a fingertip warmer; an air-warmer; a reclining chair; a calming feature; and adjustable lighting. Samples may be analyzed at the collection location or sent to elsewhere for analysis. Sample collection rooms may house a sample analysis device or system. Samples may be small, e.g., a finger-stick, and may be analyzed in a short period of time, e.g., in less than five hours, or less than four hours.
Back brace device
The present invention provides a device that provides relief for lower back pain and corrects bad posture. The back brace device comprises a plurality of belts having a rear side, a front side, and a first end removably securable to a second end. The rear side of at least one of the belts has an inflatable bladder that is controlled by an air pump. The device further comprises having a heating element and a vibration mechanism that can be turned on or off as desired by the user. The present invention is used by placing the belt around the waist of the user and securing the first and second ends to one another via one or more suitable fasteners. The bladder is then inflated in order to provide support to the back of the user.

THERMOTHERAPY DEVICE
Provided is a thermotherapy device, which includes a first housing (10), a second housing (20) disposed under the first housing (10), a transfer plate (30), at both sides of which transfer rollers (31) are provided, and a pair of guide rails (40) that is provided to the second housing (20) and on which the respective transfer rollers (31) of the transfer plate (30) are placed. The pair of guide rails (40) are integrally molded when the second housing (20) is injection-molded. Thus, since the guide rails on which the transfer rollers of the transfer plate travel are integrally molded when the second housing is injection-molded, inefficiency caused by mounting separate rails as in the related art is removed, and thereby assemblability, productivity, and economic efficiency of the thermotherapy device can be improved.
OPHTHALMIC DEVICE FOR TREATING DRY EYE
Ophthalmic devices and systems for treating dry eye are described. An ophthalmic device includes a housing having a convex anterior surface and a concave posterior surface and a thermal regulator disposed therein. In an example, the thermal regulator includes a heating element positioned to heat the convex anterior surface. In an example, the thermal regulator includes a cooling element positioned to cool the concave posterior surface. The convex anterior surface is shaped to contact a portion of conjunctiva of an eye adjacent to Meibomian glands of the eye, such as the palpebral conjunctiva, when the ophthalmic device is mounted to the eye. The concave posterior surface is shaped to contact a portion of the conjunctiva adjacent to scleral nerves of the eye, such as the bulbar conjunctiva, when the ophthalmic device is mounted to the eye.
