Self-contained heated treatment apparatus
A self-contained heated wax treatment apparatus can include an outer shell and a rack disposed inside the outer shell. The rack can include a receptacle holder and at least one heater holder. A receptacle can be connected to the rack. A heater can be connected to the heater holder of the rack. Activation of the heater causes heat to flow to the receptacle.
Heated sock to keep the wearer feet and toes warm
Heated socks used to keep a wearer's feet and toes warm. The heated socks include pockets for oxygen-activated chemical heating pouches which generate heat when exposed to air and via friction caused by the wearer when walking, jumping, or other activities and distributed through the sock from toe to ankle to heel. The heated socks are provided with extra cushioning on the bottom of the feet to aid in comfort for the wearer. The heated socks also keep the feet dry from moisture and perspiration.
Eye ailment treatment apparatus
An eye ailment treatment apparatus includes a case having an outer wall that has a front end and a rear end opposite the front end, the outer wall defining an interior area and having an outlet port at the front end. A water reservoir is positioned in the interior area and in operable communication with the outlet port. A pump is operably coupled to the water reservoir for pumping water from the water reservoir to the outlet port when actuated. An actuator is positioned on the outer wall and operably coupled to the pump for actuating the pump when operated. A treatment head is in fluid communication with the outlet port, the treatment head having an external surface constructed of a soft material for contact with a user's eye and having an unvented internal chamber that includes a exothermal material that generates heat when mixed with water.

EXOTHERMIC EXPANDABLE COMPOSITIONS
An expandable, exothermic gel-forming composition that is predominately useful in the consumer products and medical industries. More particularly, it relates to the use of expandable particulate exothermic gel-forming compositions with efficient and long-lasting heat production for heating surfaces and objects without the need for electricity or combustible fuel.

SELF WARMING MEDICAL PRODUCTS, GELS, AND FLUIDS
A medical fluid warming system with a warmer, a medical fluid, and a barrier. The warmer has an exothermic warming composition. The medical fluid is configured to be applied to a patient's body during a medical procedure. The medical fluid may be packaged in a single-use packet, and the packet may be bonded to the warmer with an adhesive. The medical fluid is thermally connected to the warmer. The barrier is configured to separate the exothermic warming composition from a reactant composition. The barrier is removable by the user to allow the reactant composition to contact the exothermic warming composition. Contact between the reactant composition and the exothermic warming composition causes the exothermic warming composition to release heat.
Electrochemical Reactor Comprising Liquid-Repellant Porous Membrane
An electrochemical reactor includes positive and negative electrodes. A conductive and/or dielectric liquid is provided between the positive and negative electrodes. A first isolation member provided on the positive electrode isolates the positive electrode from the liquid, and a second isolation member provided on the negative electrode isolates the negative electrode from the liquid. The first and second isolation member each includes a liquid-repellent porous membrane. The reactor further includes a pressure-applying member which pressurizes the liquid to fill the pores of the first and second liquid-repellent porous membranes with the liquid, thereby causing an electrochemical reaction involving the positive and negative electrodes.

HOLDER FOR HEATING AND COOLING TOOL
To provide a holder which is for a heating and cooling tool and which fits on the upper arm and can provide a stable heating or cooling effect to skin. This holder for a heating and cooling tool is mounted on the upper arm, and comprises: a holding part having a pocket in which a heater or cooler is accommodated; and a belt joined to the holding part so that an insertion space into which the upper arm is inserted is formed between the holding part and the belt, wherein the holding part is made of a material that does not substantially expand or contract, and the belt is made of an elastic material to allow the belt to conform to changes in the thickness of the upper arm accompanying bending and straightening of the elbow.
