Method and system for regulating core body temperature

A method for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may involve delivering heat to a first location on a limb of the patient, delivering heat to a second location on the limb, apart from the first location, and applying intermittent compression to a third location on the limb, located between the first location and the second location. A device for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may include a sleeve for positioning over at least part of one of the patient's limbs, first and second heat delivery members coupled with the sleeve, and an intermittent compression member coupled with the sleeve between the first and second heat delivery members.

Heating tool

The present invention provides an excellent heating tool in which the generation of unpleasant odors is suppressed. The present invention also provides an excellent heating tool in which changes in aroma are suppressed. The present invention further provides an excellent heating tool in which the generation of unpleasant odors and changes in aroma are suppressed even after storage. The present invention provides a method for suppressing the generation of unpleasant odors and changes in aroma in a heating tool. The present invention provides a heating tool comprising an exothermic composition containing a metal ion sequestrant, an oxidizable metal powder, a water-soluble salt, and water, wherein at least the exothermic composition is housed in an air-permeable container bag.

Method for setting massage pattern of thermotherapy device

The present invention relates to a method for setting a massage pattern of a thermotherapy device, and more specifically, to a method for setting a massage pattern, wherein the movement of a moxibustion device is patterned according to diseases so as to allow a bone of the spine associated with a disease to be intensively massaged, and thus if a disease is selected, a moxibustion device is operated by a motor according to the set massage pattern so as to enable an automatic customized massage according to the disease.

Steam-generative warming device

A steam-generative warming device 10 having a steam generating element 30 that releases steam in association with heat generation accompanying the oxidation of an oxidizable metal. The steam generative warming device 10 contains a capsaicin analog and a menthol in a capsaicin analog/menthol mass ratio of 1/300 to 1/20000. It is preferred that the capsaicin analog be present in an element adapted to be brought into direct contact with the user's skin and the menthol be present in an element adapted not to be brought into contact with the user's skin.
