Heating device using exothermic chemical reaction
The current invention discloses a treatment device having a heat source, a power source, a heat applicator and a lighting mechanism. The power source includes at least one nanotech battery, ensuring superior properties such as prolonged electricity production and prompt recharging. The heat applicator includes a heat conductive layer made from nanofibers, providing highly efficient heat distribution to the targeted regions. The lighting mechanism employs light emitting nano fibers to treat targeted regions. The power source provides energy to the light source, which generates light so that the applicator may distribute to an injury site or wound bed of a user. The heat source may be an exothermic chemical reaction designed to last for several hours supplying heat to the treatment device or a electronically produced heat. In addition to the medical utilizations, the current device may also play a central role in other apparatus that require thermal control or lighting capabilities.
Vapor heating implement
A vapor heating implement satisfies: (A) the content of water in the heating implement is equal to or higher than 40 parts by mass and is equal to or lower than 80 parts by mass for 100 parts by mass of the oxidizable metal; (B) the content of the water-retention agent in the exothermic composition is equal to or higher than 0.3 parts by mass and is equal to or lower than 20 parts by mass for 100 parts by mass of the oxidizable metal; (C) the content of water contained in the exothermic layer (121A) is equal to or higher than 8 parts by mass and is equal to or lower than 45 parts by mass for 100 parts by mass of the oxidizable metal; and (D) the content of water contained in the water-retention sheet (121C) is from 15 to 30 mass % of the maximum water absorption of the water-retention sheet.
Heating device
This invention provides a heating device ensuring sufficient adhesive force, even when it is removed from clothing and then reattached to different clothing. The heating device of the present invention comprises a bag unit 2 containing an exothermic composition A including an oxidizable metal that can generate heat by contact with air, one surface of the bag unit 2 being air-permeable; an adhesive layer 3 formed on the other surface of the bag unit 2; a first release sheet 4 provided on the adhesive layer 3 to cover the adhesive layer 3; and a second release sheet 5 provided on the first release sheet 4 to cover the first release sheet 4, wherein the first release sheet 4 has a release portion 41 and a residual portion 42; when the second release sheet 5 is removed from the first release sheet 4, the release portion 41 is removed together with the second release sheet 5 and the residual portion 42 remains on the adhesive layer 3.
Biodegradable disposable hand warmer
An object of the present invention is to provide a disposable body warmer that exhibits sufficient physical properties (strength) of the inner bag during use, and that is excellent in biodegradability after use. The disposable body warmer is prepared by allowing an exothermic composition comprising potassium chloride and/or sodium chloride to be contained in an inner bag comprising an oxidative degradation agent.
SPINE IMMOBILIZATION DEVICE
Provided is a spine immobilization device that is able to suppress the sense of discomfort felt when worn to a low level. A spine immobilization device is an immobilization device that immobilizes a person's spine and is provided with a sheet part and a core part. The sheet part has a sheet-like shape and is configured to be stuck to the body surface. The core part is fastened to the back surface of the sheet part. The core part is configured to extend along a spine. In this state, the core part laterally supports the spine.
Topical formulations for treating skin conditions
The present disclosure is drawn to topical formulations and related methods. In one embodiment, a topical formulation is provided that includes at least one corticosteroid, a first compound, and a second compound. The first compound and second compound are different and each is selected from the group consisting of N-lauroyl sarcosine, sodium octyl sulfate, methyl laurate, isopropyl myristate, oleic acid, glyceryl oleate, and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate.
