Quat-Based Compostable and Biodegradable Pre-Moistened Cleaning and Disinfecting Wipes System with Particular Surface Frictional Characteristics
Pre-dosed wipes and packaged systems of such wipes including a nonwoven substrate formed from natural pulp fibers and regenerated cellulosic fibers where the natural pulp fibers are not simply present at an interior of the substrate, but are substantially homogeneously dispersed throughout the substrate, so that the natural pulp fibers are exposed on exterior faces of the wipe. As no synthetic fibers are present, the nonwoven substrate and wipe as a whole may meet any applicable biodegradability/compostability standard (e.g., ASTM D6400 or EN13432). The wipe may be substantially void of compostable synthetic polyester or other synthetic fibers, such as PHA, PLA, PVA, PVOH, PP, or PET. A cleaning composition is loaded onto the wipe. A container can be provided within which the plurality of nonwoven substrates pre-dosed with the cleaning composition are packaged.
SPRAY CONTAINER COMPRISING A DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The need for a container and detergent composition which exhibit good cleaning, including on greasy soils, and good surface shine, while also maintaining spray visibility on the treated hard surface, is met by formulating an aqueous detergent composition using a low level of surfactant system, an aminoalcohol solvent, and a glycol ether solvent, at the specified ratios.
SPRAY CONTAINER COMPRISING A DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The need for a spray container and detergent composition, which exhibits less dribbling of the detergent composition when applied to inclined surfaces, and a higher fraction of the detergent composition contacting the surface after spraying, while also reducing nozzle spitting and improving spray visibility on the treated surface, is met by formulating the composition using a long chain polymer.
Rinsing Solution for Metal Blades
A blade rinse composition comprising about 0.0001 to 0.01 wt. % disodium tetraborate decahydrate, about 0.0001 to 0.01 wt. % cationic surfactant, up to 5 wt. % anhydrous alcohol, and deionized water is disclosed, together with methods of making and using the same. The composition may prevent oxidation and/or contamination of metal blades and premature dullness of the blades.
CLEANING LIQUID FOR AQUEOUS INK
The present invention relates to a cleaning liquid for a water-based ink that contains a pigment and a water-insoluble polymer, said cleaning liquid containing (A) a surfactant, (B) a water-soluble organic solvent containing (b-1) diethylene glycol monoisopropyl ether, and water, in which the surfactant (A) contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (a-1) an acetylene glycol or an ethyleneoxide adduct of the acetylene glycol, and (a-2) a polyethylene glycol alkyl ether containing an alkyl group having not less than 8 carbon atoms or a polyethylene glycol aryl ether containing an aryl group having not less than 6 carbon atoms, and a content of the water-soluble organic solvent (B) in the cleaning liquid is from 5 to 30% by mass; and a method of cleaning a water-based ink using the cleaning liquid.
NATURALLY-DERIVED ANTIMICROBIAL CLEANING SOLUTIONS
Various aspects of the embodiments relate to methods of cleaning and disinfecting with a mixture comprising a cleaning and disinfecting composition concentrate and water. The cleaning and disinfecting composition concentrate typically comprises an organic acid, a surfactant, and an alcohol, and the concentrate typically lacks any halogenated molecule.
CLEANING COMPOSITION, CLEANING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE USING THE SAME
A cleaning composition, a cleaning apparatus, and a method of fabricating a semiconductor device, the cleaning composition including a surfactant; deionized water; and an organic compound, wherein the surfactant is included in the cleaning composition in a concentration of about 0.28M to about 0.39 M or a mole fraction of about 0.01 to about 0.017, and wherein the organic compound is included in the cleaning composition in a concentration of about 7.1 M to about 7.5 M or a mole fraction of about 0.27 to about 0.035.
MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANING SOLUTION
Disclosed herein is a multi-purpose cleaning solution, wherein the solution comprises vinegar, ammonia, alcohol, and a surfactant. Ammonium acetate forms in the chemical reaction. The multi-purpose cleaning concentrate can be diluted with water.
USE OF AN IONIC LIQUID AND ALCOHOL BLEND TO MODIFY THE RHEOLOGY OF POLYETHOXYLATED ALCOHOL SULFATES
In one embodiment, a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition is provided which includes a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate, such as sodium laureth ether sulfate (SLES), water, an ionic liquid, and an alcohol. The ionic liquid and the alcohol form a synergistic blend, enabling a significant reduction of the viscosity of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition. Also provided is an embodiment of a method for modifying the rheology of polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate by use of an ionic liquid and alcohol blend. Finally provided is an embodiment of a detergent composition which is prepared by use of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition described herein, in addition to other commonly known ingredients.
USE OF AN ALCOHOL HYBRID TO MODIFY THE RHEOLOGY OF POLYETHOXYLATED ALCOHOL SULFATES
In one embodiment, a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition is provided which includes a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate, such as sodium laureth ether sulfate (SLES), water, a mono-alcohol, and a polyol. The two alcohols form a synergistic blend, enabling a significant reduction of the viscosity of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition. Also provided is an embodiment of a method for modifying the rheology of polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate by use of a mono-alcohol and a polyol simultaneously. Finally provided is an embodiment of a detergent composition which is prepared by use of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition described herein, in addition to other commonly known ingredients.
