DETERGENT SINGLE DOSE PACKS WITH FRUCTOSE/GLUCOSE SOLVENT BLENDS FOR ENZYME STABILITY AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A single dose pack exhibiting improved enzyme stability and methods for producing the same are provided. The single dose pack includes a container composed of a water-soluble film and a wash composition encapsulated within the container. The wash composition includes a detergent surfactant, an enzyme, and a solvent blend. The enzyme is present in an amount of about 0.01 wt. % to about 0.5 wt. % active enzyme, based on the overall weight of the wash composition. The solvent blend includes water; a non-aqueous solvent selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, and mixtures of two or more thereof; and a saccharide system including fructose and glucose. The saccharide system is present in an amount of about 1 wt. % to about 30 wt. %, based on the overall weight of the wash composition.
SURFACTANT COMPOSITIONS WITH SUPRAMOLECULAR STRUCTURES FOR INDUSTRIAL, HOUSEHOLD, AGRICULTURAL AND OIL/GAS USE
Surface-active compositions with supramolecular structures for industrial, household, agricultural, and oil and gas use include a surfactant, a supramolecular host chemical or a supramolecular guest chemical configured to engage in host-guest chemistry with the surfactant, and a solvent. The surface-active compositions optionally can be substantially free of yeast, or protein extracted from yeast. Methods of increasing wettability of a surface and increasing dispersibility in a fluid by using the surface-active compositions are also described.
COMPOSTION AND ITS USE IN CLEANING APPLICATIONS
The invention relates to a composition, comprising: (A) water; (B) one or more liquid olefinic unsaturated compounds having at least 8 carbon atoms in the backbone having a water solubility of less than 2 g in 1,000 g of water at 25 C., respectively; (C) optionally one or more liquid esters having a water solubility of less than 2 g in 1,000 g of water at 25 C.; (D) one or more amphiphilic liquid compounds; (E) one or more of an anionic (E1), a cationic (E2), a non-ionic (E3) and optionally an amphoteric tenside (E4); (F) optionally one or more additives.
Liquid formulation comprising an alcohol and highly water soluble manganese complex salt catalyst, bleaching formulation and cleaning agent comprising the same
Disclosed is a liquid composition containing a solvent selected from the group consisting of mono aliphatic alcohols having two to six carbon atoms, mono-, di-, tri- or tetraalkylene glycols having two, three or four carbon atoms in the alkylene moiety, cyclohexanol, benzyl alcohol or glycerol, whereby each OH group may be optionally, and independently, substituted by a OR group, whereby R is alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and whereby the solvent optionally contains 0.01-10 wt-% of an inorganic or organic acid, and dissolved therein a mononuclear or dinuclear Mn(III) and/or Mn(IV) complex salt having a selected non-coordinating counter ion, having a water-solubility of at least 30 g/L at 20 C., and wherein the mononuclear or dinuclear Mn(III) and/or Mn(IV) complex comprises at least one cyclic triamine ligand
The liquid compositions and formulations comprising it are suitable for use in catalysing oxidation, for example as a component of a dishwasher bleaching composition. The invention further relates to cleaning agents comprising the liquid compositions described herein.
Ring Opening Of Epoxidized Fatty Acid Esters
This invention relates to a ring opening method. The method includes reacting an epoxidized fatty acid ester with an alcohol to open an epoxy ring of the ester. A salt of tetrafluoroboric acid is used as a catalyst in the reaction. In another embodiment, the invention relates to a method of producing a polyurethane. An epoxidized fatty acid ester is reacted with an alcohol to open an epoxy ring of the ester, thereby to produce a polyol. A salt of tetrafluoroboric acid is used as a catalyst in the reaction. The polyol is then reacted with an isocyanate to produce a polyurethane. In a further embodiment, the polyol is used to produce a product selected from polyurethanes, coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers and lubricants.
Antimicrobial detergent composition comprising a polyester-polyether polymer and a halogenated phenol antimicrobial agent mixture
An antimicrobial detergent composition includes the following components by mass percent: 0.1-10% of a polyester-polyether polymer, 0.01-2% of an antimicrobial agent with a halogenated phenol structure, 10-50% of a surfactant and a solvent. A 1% deionized water solution of the detergent composition has a pH value of 7.0-9.0. In the present invention, by introducing the polyester-polyether polymer into the composition, the deposition efficiency of the antimicrobial agent with the halogenated phenol structure on a fabric can be improved, a solubilization effect of the surfactant in a detergent can be reduced, and therefore, a antimicrobial effect is achieved.
