INDANE DERIVATIVES FOR MALODOR COUNTERACTION
The present invention relates to the field of malodor counteraction. More particularly, it concerns malodor masking ingredient having an indane moiety (as defined in formula (I)), as well as malodor masking compositions comprising such ingredients.
Preservative mixture
Suggested is a preservative mixture with improved solubility comprising or consisting of (a) 4-isopropyl-3-methylphenol; (b) at least one hydrophilic solvent having a log P.sub.o/w of 1.2 or below; and (c) at least one lipophilic solvent having a log P.sub.o/w of above 1.2.
MULTIPURPOSE ACIDIC COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
Multipurpose acidic compositions for cleaning and/or sanitizing are provided. The acidic compositions are liquids that remove polymerized soils, hard water deposit (e.g., calcium carbonate), soap scum, rust and other stains (e.g., coffee and tea), including assisting in general cleaning of difficult soils, such as fats, oils, cosmetics, and other difficult soils. The acidic compositions can include at least one organic acid and a solvent or solvent system, and if desired, can be PPE free compositions. Methods for using the acidic compositions as pre-treatments, soaks and/or application in machine and manual warewash are also provided. Methods for using the acidic compositions for removing polymerized oils, carbonized soils, fats, oils, stains (e.g., coffee and tea), hard water scale/deposits, and cosmetics are also provided.
Personal care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions
The present invention relates to personal care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using such personal care compositions. Such personal care compositions comprising the malodor control technologies disclosed herein provide malodor control without leaving an undesirable scent and when perfume is used to scent such compositions, such scent is not unduly altered by the malodor control technology.
Cleaning product
The need for a cleaning product comprising a spray dispenser and a cleaning composition, which provides improved crystalline grease cleaning and good initial sudsing, and hence reduced time to clean the dishes, is met by a cleaning product comprising a spray dispenser and a cleaning composition, the composition is housed in the spray dispenser and wherein the cleaning composition comprises alkyl polyglucoside surfactant, a co-surfactant selected from amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant and mixtures thereof, and an organic solvent.
A PRESERVATIVE MIXTURE
Suggested is a preservative mixture with improved solubility comprising or consisting of (a) 4-isopropyl-3-methylphenol; (b) at least one hydrophilic solvent having a log P.sub.o/w of 1.2 or below; and (c) at least one lipophilic solvent having a log P.sub.o/w of above 1.2.
Wet wipes containing hydroxy acetophenone and cocamidopropyl PG dimonium chloride phosphate
A cleaning composition including a preservative formulation having hydroxy acetophenone and a phospholipid complex is disclosed. The cleaning composition can be loaded on a cleaning wipe and used for personal care. The hydroxyacetophenone provides a preservative booster to the preservative system for the cleaning composition containing a phospholipid complex, such as cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, which has some limited independent preservation activity, depending on the level in the final formulation.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL AROMATIC ALCOHOLS FOR PERSONAL CARE, HOME CARE AND INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL COMPOSITIONS
Single ingredient, multifunctional additives for use in a wide variety of products comprise aromatic alcohols including without limitation 3-phenylpropanol, 2-phenylethanol, 2-methyl-3-phenylpropanol, methyl benzene ethanol, methyl benzene propanol, or 4-phenyl-1-butanol, or mixtures thereof. The multifunctional aromatic alcohols provide unexpected improvements in processing and in end use product properties of a wide variety of products and are useful at a wide range of pH.
ANTIVIRAL WIPER
An object of the present invention is to provide an antiviral wiper having excellent antiviral activity and excellent storage stability.
The antiviral wiper according to an embodiment of the present invention is an antiviral wiper having a base fabric and a liquid agent with which the base fabric is impregnated.
The content of a cellulosic fiber in the base fabric is equal to or lower than 70% by mass with respect to the total mass of fibers constituting the base fabric.
The liquid agent is alkaline and contains a compound X having a pKa of 7.0 to 15.0 and a solvent containing at least an alcohol, and the content of the alcohol is 40% to 100% by mass with respect to the total mass of the solvent.
