An appendage cooling and heating system has a body with an outer layer, an inner layer, and an interstitial space for containing a thermo-regulator material. The inner layer and the outer layer are nested to form a joint. An appendage opening is formed in the appendage cooling and heating system to receive an appendage of the user. The joint forms an interlocking seal between the outer layer and the inner layer to contain the thermo-regulator material within the interstitial space.

A neck wrap for cooling down a neck area of a person. The neck wrap can be worn around a neck and have two pouches. Each of the two pouches can receive a liquid container that can be filled with cold liquid and optionally frozen. The two pouches having a contact area coming in contact with skin made of heat conductive material that can permit removing heat from the neck area by the cold liquid in the liquid containers when the neck wrap is worn around the neck.

Disclosed is a system which employs a cooling or heating pad which is preferably rechargeable with hot or cold temperatures at an intended area of the body. A wearable thermal gel-pack comprising a gel-pack body having a first portion including an inner surface and defining a gel cavity encapsulating a gel material therein and a second portion including a container with a first member coupled to the first portion, a second member pivotally coupled to the first member to form a joint and with an outer surface opposing the inner surface of the first portion, and a container cavity defined by the first and second members, the container cavity juxtaposed to and fluidly uncoupled to the gel cavity, the first and second members of the container having a closed position with a watertight configuration and an open position with a container opening in fluid communication with the container cavity and a strap couplable to the second member at a location along a strap length and operably configured to surround the inner surface of the first portion.

An equine therapy boot that has an insulating shaft that can be securely fastened at multiple locations on an equine leg and hold a volume of therapeutic media to treat the equine hoof and leg is disclosed herein. The equine therapy boot includes a sole member, an internal securing mechanism, and an insulating shaft configured to retain therapeutic media. Advantageously, this equine therapy boot secures the horse's hoof to the sole member such that the insulating shaft is not displaced from the horse's hoof and leg during the treatment period. Also disclosed herein are methods of treating a diseased or injured horse's hoof and leg with the disclosed equine therapy boot.
