A Hydrogen Peroxide Disinfectant Composition
The present invention herein provides a disinfectant composition containing a) an effective amount of a hydrogen peroxide source, b) a blend of at least one aromatic alcohol and at least one glycol or glycol ether, c) at least one nonionic and/or anionic surfactant and d) at least one acid. Furthermore a method of using the disinfectant composition is also provided, whereby the composition can be applied to any surface and effectively kill a majority of tuberculosis and/or M. terrae microbes; resulting in a >5 log reduction at a contact time of 5 minutes or less.
Unit Dose Laundry Detergent Compositions Containing Soil Release Polymers
A unit dose detergent product includes a unit dose pouch with a water soluble film, and a liquid detergent encapsulated in the unit dose pouch. The liquid detergent includes a soil release polymer, at least 10% by weight of an alkyl-ether sulfate, an alkoxylated polyamine, less than 30% by weight of water, and, optionally, a polyglycol. A mixture of 2 parts of the liquid detergent composition to 1 part water has a viscosity below 3,000 centipoise.
Flowable Detergent Preparation Having Improved Properties
A flowable detergent preparation containing, based on the total weight thereof, a) ethanol and 1,2-propanediol and glycerol in a total amount of 5 to 25 wt. %; wherein the weight ratio of ethanol and 1,2-propanediol to glycerol is 0.9 to 5.0, and washing method using this detergent preparation.
Aqueous gel cleaning composition for lipophilic stain removal from vehicle surfaces
A gellable vehicle surface cleaning composition is provided that includes a non-ionic surfactant combined with gelling components of an inorganic gel forming substance and at least one water soluble polymer in a ratio of the inorganic gel forming substance to the hydrophilic polymer of between 0.1-1:1. The non-ionic surfactant and the gelling components are provided in an aqueous solvent system. The aqueous solvent system includes a first solvent having a Kamlet-Taft solvent polarity α (K-T α) value of zero, a second solvent having a K-T α 0.6-0.85 value, and water present at more than 50 total weight percent. A process of for cleaning a vehicle surface with a stain is also provided that includes the composition to the stain on the vehicle surface a composition and after allowing sufficient time for the composition to lift the stain, the stain and the composition are removed from the vehicle surface.

This present invention is directed to antimicrobial fabric care compositions that provide detersive benefits such as stain and soil removal and aesthetic benefits like softening, wrinkle-reduction and color-protection and when used discretely or synergistically during the laundry program reduce the risk of infections and promote health and hygiene by providing dose-dependent antimicrobial activities such as sanitizing, disinfecting and removing malodors from fabrics, and imparting 24-48 hour antimicrobial-durability into fabrics, and deactivating biofilms inside the washing machine and preventing biofilm formation inside the washing machine to prevent recontamination of fabrics. The compositions are well-suited for use in domestic, commercial and on-premise-laundry-operations such as healthcare facilities, hotels, cruise ships, and the like. Methods for discrete and synergistic uses to simultaneously treat fabrics and the internal surfaces of the washing machine are also disclosed.
Compositions Comprising (Bio)-Alkanediols
The present invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of at least one linear 1,2-alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 13 carbon atoms and an effective amount of at least one linear 2,3-alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 13 carbon atoms. Moreover, the present invention relates to a composition comprising an effective amount of at least one linear 1,2-alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 13 carbon atoms and an effective amount of at least one linear 2,3-alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 13 carbon atoms. Additionally, the present invention relates to the use of the compositions of the present invention for enhancing the antioxidative effect of an antioxidant, for improving the sensory properties, i.e. skin sensation, of a liquid lipophilic component, for sebum control, or for malodour management, or for modulating fragrance notes, or for modification of fragrance notes, or for suppression of fragrance notes, or for topical applications, or for coverage of the malodour of 1-octen-3-ol, or for masking insect alluring odours, or for repelling insects. Finally, the present invention relates to a cosmetic product, a pharmaceutical or a homecare product comprising a composition according to the present invention.
Solid fragrance-containing composition with an inorganic/organic rheology modifier mixture
A solid, particulate composition having at least one water-soluble carrier material, at least one fragrance and at least one water-miscible organic solvent, wherein the carrier material is a water-containing salt (hydrate) whose water vapor partial pressure at a specific temperature in the range from 30 to 100° C. corresponds to the H.sub.2O partial pressure of the saturated solution of this salt, such that the salt melts at this temperature in its own crystal water. The invention further relates to processes for producing the solid composition, and to a washing or cleaning product including the solid composition. In addition, the present invention also relates to the use of a washing or cleaning product of this kind for cleaning of textiles or hard surfaces, and corresponding methods of cleaning textiles or hard surfaces using a washing or cleaning product of this kind.
WIPING DETERGENT COMPOSITION FOR TEXTILE PRODUCTS
Provided are a wiping detergent composition for textile products capable of, when wiping a stain derived from food or the like attached to a textile product using a detergent liquid, not only reducing the degree of soiling of the stain portion, but also reducing the spread of the stain around the stain portion, and a method for removing a stain attached to a textile product using the same. A wiping detergent composition for textile products containing the following component (a1) in an amount of 0.3 mass % or more and 10 mass % or less, the following component (b) in an amount of 0.1 mass % or more, and water, wherein the mass ratio of the content of component (a1) to the content of component (b), (a1)/(b), is 0.6 or more and 50 or less, component (a1): one or more surfactants selected from a nonionic surfactant with an HLB of 9 or more and 16.0 or less and an anionic surfactant, and component (b): an organic solvent having a hydroxyl group with a ClogP of −2.0 or more and less than 1.0.
