CONCENTRATED 2 IN 1 DISHMACHINE DETERGENT AND RINSE AID
Consumer and industrial 2-in-1 cleaning compositions providing both detergency and rinseability in a single cleaning composition are disclosed. Alkaline-based cleaning compositions containing a surface modification polymer and an alcohol alkoxylate nonionic surfactant, and methods of using the same provide user-friendly, solid, detergent compositions without the need for using a separate rinse aid composition.
SUBSTRATES HAVING WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMER ZONES COMPRISING A FRESHENING ACTIVE AND CONSUMER PRODUCTS COMPRISING THE SAME
A substrate and consumer products made therefrom are provided. The substrate includes a surface and a water-soluble polymer zone disposed on and in contact with the surface. The water-soluble polymer zone includes a freshening active, a water-soluble, film-forming polymer, and a surfactant.
Water mineral cleaning solutions and related methods
Implementations of cleaning compositions may include at least one of sodium lauryl sulfate, hydrochloric acid, muriatic acid, hydrobromic acid, and hydroiodic acid. Such implementations may also include benzalkonium chloride and either coco betaine or cocamidopropyl betaine. Such implementations may also include iodized salt, sodium sulfonate, and potassium nitrate.
Dissolvable detergent pouch and method
A detergent pouch may be made from a dissolvable paper which completely dissolves upon contact with liquid water thereby releasing the detergent contained within the pouch. The dissolvable paper may be a Cellulose gum such as Carboxymethyl Cellulose. The dissolvable paper is free from any coloring, dyes, impurities and other toxins. The detergent may be laundry detergent such as Sodium Carbonate, C12-15 Pareth-2, and Sodium Metasilicate which is free from any fillers, perfumes, coloring agents, or brighteners. The paper pouch and the powder detergent may be safe for septic wastewater treatment systems, biodegradable, and hypoallergenic. The paper pouch may be non-toxic.
Non-caustic solid powder cleaner comprising a chelant and carbonate base combination
A non-caustic solid powder cleaner composition is disclosed herein, as well as a method of making and using the same. A benefit of the powder cleaner composition can be providing a compact, lightweight powder composition that can be easily and efficiently transported, stored, dispensed, and used for safely cleaning grill and oven surfaces.
Enhanced peroxygen stability in multi-dispense TAED-containing peroxygen solid
Stabilized compositions employing a sequestrant system and a binding system for improving shelf stability and dispensing stability of a solid activated bleach composition are disclosed. The compositions contain a peroxygen source and a catalyst activator which require generation of a peroxycarboxylic acid or other active oxygen sanitizing agent at a point of use. Stabilized compositions employ a sequestrant system including a phosphonic acid and/or dipicolinic acid sequestrant and a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability and dispensing stability for a activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.
Detergent products, methods and manufacture
A water-soluble pouch suitable for use in machine dishwashing and which comprises a plurality of compartments in generally superposed or superposable relationship, each containing one or more detergent active or auxiliary components, and wherein the pouch has a volume of from about 5 to about 70 ml and a longitudinal/transverse aspect ratio in the range from about 2:1 to about 1:8, preferably from about 1:1 to about 1:4. The water-soluble pouch allows for optimum delivery of dishwashing detergent. A process for the manufacture of multi-compartment pouches and a pack to contain the pouches are also disclosed.
Use of poly alpha-1,3-glucan ethers as viscosity modifiers
A hydrocolloid or aqueous solution comprising a poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound is disclosed having a viscosity of at least about 10 centipoise (cPs). The poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound in these compositions has a degree of substitution of about 0.05 to about 3.0. Also disclosed is a method for increasing the viscosity of a hydrocolloid or aqueous composition using a poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound.
Dilution thickening composition
An aqueous composition comprising: (1) an alkyl cellulose ether, and (2) an acrylic polymer comprising polymerized units of (i) 35 to 65 wt % C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl acrylates; (ii) 30 to 60 wt % C.sub.3-C.sub.6 carboxylic acid monomers; and (iii) 2 to 10 wt % of monomers having an alkyl group having at least ten carbon atoms.
Composition
A solid surfactant cosmetic composition includes (i) insoluble vegetable fibre, insoluble fruit fibre or mixture thereof; (ii) surfactant; and (iii) hydrocolloid. The solid surfactant cosmetic composition is prepared by dehydrating a liquid composition. The liquid composition includes (i) a vegetable pulp containing insoluble vegetable fibre, a fruit pulp containing insoluble fruit fibre or a mixture thereof, wherein the vegetable pulp, fruit pulp or mixture thereof is in an amount of 55 to 99 wt. %; (ii) surfactant in an amount of 0.9 to 40 wt. %; and (iii) hydrocolloid in an amount of 0.1 to 15 wt. %, the amounts being based on the total combined amount of pulp, surfactant and hydrocolloid.
