OXIDIZED POLYSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVES
Disclosed herein are compositions that comprise at least one oxidized polysaccharide derivative. Such an oxidized polysaccharide derivative can be produced by contacting a polysaccharide derivative under aqueous conditions with at least one agent that is capable of oxidizing the polysaccharide derivative. The polysaccharide derivative for oxidation has a degree of substitution (DoS) up to about 3.0 with at least one organic group. Further disclosed are methods of producing oxidized polysaccharide derivatives, as well as their use in various applications and products.
Automotive paint remover composition and method of making
A chemical composition and method of making and using are provided for paint removal and/or for adhesive removal. The chemical composition comprises THF and a solvent selected from the group consisting of methyl acetate, acetone, dimethyl carbonate, propylene carbonate, and 1-chloro-4 (trifluoromethyl) benzene, and a combination thereof.
Amphiphilic polysaccharide derivatives and compositions comprising same
The disclosure relates to compositions comprising a polysaccharide derivative, wherein the polysaccharide derivative comprises a polysaccharide substituted with a) at least one hydrophobic group, and b) at least one hydrophilic group, wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, or poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan.
LIQUID SPRAY FORMULATION
The present invention relates to a liquid formulation for spraying on a face mask, the formulation being an aqueous solution having a pH in a range between 2.5 and 4 and comprising an organic acid selected from a list consisting of citric acid, malic acid, lactic acid and tartaric acids, a film forming polymer, and an anionic surfactant. Other aspects of the invention are the use of such a liquid formulation to spray it on a face mask, and a method of forming a film on a face mask.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING DISPERSINS II
Cleaning compositions may include polypeptides having hexosaminidase activity. The cleaning compositions may include a polypeptide having one or more of the motif(s) [IV]P[ED][LVI]DXP[AN]H (SEQ ID NO 21), the conserved motif II NYN[AS]Y[SY]LY (SEQ ID NO 22), the conserved motif III GXDE (SEQ ID NO 41), or combinations thereof. The cleaning compositions may be or include laundry detergents, fabric finishers, acidic cleaning agents, neutral cleaning agents, alkaline cleaning agents, hand dishwashing agents, automatic dishwasher compositions, or combinations thereof.
COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ONE OR MORE POLY ALPHA-1,3-GLUCAN ETHER COMPOUNDS
Compositions comprising cellulase and at least one poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound having a degree of substitution with an organic group of about 0.05-3.0 are disclosed. Such compositions can be dry or aqueous, the latter of which can have a viscosity of at least about 10 cPs. The disclosed composition can be in the form of a personal care product, household product, or industrial product, for example. Also disclosed are a method for preparing an aqueous composition comprising cellulase and a poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound, and a method of treating a material such as fabric by contacting it with this aqueous composition.
GLUCAN FIBER COMPOSITIONS FOR USE IN LAUNDRY CARE AND FABRIC CARE
An enzymatically produced -glucan oligomer/polymer compositions is provided. The enzymatically produced -glucan oligomer/polymers can be derivatized into -glucan ether compounds. The -glucan oligomers/polymers and the corresponding -glucan ethers are cellulose and/or protease resistant, making them suitable for use in fabric care and laundry care applications. Methods for the production and use of the present compositions are also provided.
Enhanced peroxygen stability in multi-dispense TAED-containing peroxygen solid
Stabilized compositions employing a sequestrant system and a binding system for improving shelf stability and dispensing stability of a solid activated bleach composition are disclosed. The compositions contain a peroxygen source and a catalyst activator which require generation of a peroxycarboxylic acid or other active oxygen sanitizing agent at a point of use. Stabilized compositions employ a sequestrant system including a phosphonic acid and/or dipicolinic acid sequestrant and a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability and dispensing stability for a activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.
WATER BASED ADHESIVE REMOVAL COMPOSITION
A water based adhesive removal composition which is effective and non-residual on magnesium and alloys comprises an alkali, a main solvent, a volatilization inhibitor, a cosolvent, a corrosion inhibitor, a penetrant, a thickening agent, a surface active agent, and water. The water based adhesive removal composition is water-based formula, the water-based formula is not easy to volatilize and is not flammable. When being used to remove adhesive attached on the magnesium alloy component, there is no risk of magnesium ignition.
CLEANING COMPOSITION
A cleaning composition having good foamability and being capable of producing fine and stable foams with resilient texture, more specifically, a cleaning composition including a surfactant, methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and a solvent.
