A LAUNDRY TREATMENT FORMULATION
A laundry treatment formulation is provided, comprising: a modified carbohydrate polymer, wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer comprises a cellulose ether base material functionalized with (i) trialkyl ammonium moieties of formula (I)
##STR00001##
wherein each R.sup.1 is independently selected from the group consisting of a C.sub.1-7 alkyl group and wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer has a Kjeldahl nitrogen content, TKN, corrected for ash and volatiles, of 0.75 to 2.5 wt %; and (ii) hydrophobic substituents each having 16 carbon atoms; wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer comprises 0.005 to 1.5 wt %, based on weight of the cellulose ether base material, of the hydrophobic substituents; wherein the hydrophobic substituents are randomly distributed across the backbone of the cellulose ether base material; wherein the cellulose ether base material has a weight average molecular weight, M.sub.W, of >800,000 Daltons.
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CLEANING OF LIQUID SPRAY APPARATUS
A method of cleaning a coating liquid spray apparatus after use, the method comprising passing a water-based cleaning liquid through the coating liquid spray apparatus; wherein the cleaning liquid contains a thickener.
Spray container comprising a detergent composition
The need for a spray container and detergent composition, which exhibits less dribbling of the detergent composition when applied to inclined surfaces, and a higher fraction of the detergent composition contacting the surface after spraying, while also reducing nozzle spitting and improving spray visibility on the treated surface, is met by formulating the composition using a long chain polymer.
Spray container comprising a detergent composition
The need for a light duty maintenance cleaning spray for hard surfaces, which result in less over-spray during application, especially when using spray applicators which provide large coverage angles, and provides more uniform coverage, especially on inclined surfaces, is met when the spray composition is formulated with low surfactant levels and thickener, and is applied as spray droplets having the desired particle size.
Glucan fiber compositions for use in laundry care and fabric care
An enzymatically produced α-glucan oligomer/polymer compositions is provided. The enzymatically produced α-glucan oligomer/polymers can be derivatized into α-glucan ether compounds. The α-glucan oligomers/polymers and the corresponding α-glucan ethers are cellulose and/or protease resistant, making them suitable for use in fabric care and laundry care applications. Methods for the production and use of the present compositions are also provided.
FABRIC CONDITIONING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, a cationic polysaccharide, a non-ionic polysaccharide and a vegetable oil. The composition can notably be used for conditioning fabrics.
MOLDABLE COMPOSITION FOR SOLID WASHING AGENT AND METHOD FOR MOLDING THE SAME
The present disclosure is directed to providing a moldable solid washing agent composition and an article molded from the same. The composition of the present disclosure can be stored easily at room temperature for a long time. It is applicable to a system that can be manufactured on site and can satisfy customer needs because it can be molded immediately by a simple method and the shape, size, etc. can be controlled. In addition, the solid washing agent composition disclosed in the present specification has superior compatibility with water.
A METHOD OF PROVIDING OIL AND/OR GREASE RESISTANT TEXTILE MATERIALS
Disclosed is a method for providing a textile material(s) resistant to the deposition of oil- and grease-based air pollutants by treating the textile material(s) with an oil/grease resistant composition. The oil/grease resistant composition comprises a modified polysaccharide(s), particularly, polysaccharides modified with anionic groups, and one or more adjuvant materials.
AMPHIPHILIC POLYSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVES AND COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING SAME
The disclosure relates to compositions comprising a polysaccharide derivative, wherein the polysaccharide derivative comprises a polysaccharide substituted with a) at least one hydrophobic group, and b) at least one hydrophilic group, wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, or poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan.
TOILET CLEANER
The present invention relates to a toilet cleaner comprising a cleaning agent, wherein said cleaning agent is included at a percentage between 50% and 80% by weight, and also comprising an effervescent agent at a percentage between 10% and 30% by weight. The cleaner is preferably in the form of solid granules, and it also comprises a foaming agent. The present invention allows providing a cleaner in solid form which can be applied directly in the toilet bowl and readily metered, giving the user a perception of cleanliness.
