USE OF COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A SILOXANE-TYPE ADDITIVE FOR AVOIDING PATTERN COLLAPSE WHEN TREATING PATTERNED MATERIALS WITH LINE-SPACE DIMENSIONS OF 50 NM OR BELOW
The invention relates to the use of a non-aqueous composition comprising an organic solvent and at least one particular siloxane-type additive for treating substrates comprising patterns having line-space dimensions of 50 nm or below and aspect ratios of 4 or more as well as a method for manufacturing integrated circuit devices, optical devices, micromachines and mechanical precision devices, the said method comprising the steps of (1) providing a substrate having patterned material layers having line-space dimensions of 50 nm, aspect ratios of greater or equal 4, or a combination thereof, (2) contacting the substrate at least once with a non-aqueous composition, and (3) removing the non-aqueous composition from the contact with the substrate, wherein the non-aqueous composition comprising an organic solvent and at least one of such siloxane-type additives.
Encapsulates
The present application relates processes that can be used to produce encapsulated benefit agents comprising a core and a shell that encapsulates said core, encapsulated benefit agents produced by such process and products comprising such encapsulated benefit agents as well as methods of making and using such products. Such process can be used to produce particles that offer the desired protection and release benefits when used in a varity of products.

LAUNDRY TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING PERFUME AND SILICA MICROPARTICLES
A laundry treatment composition comprising: i) at least 5 wt % amphiphilic material, preferably selected from the group consisting of detersive surfactants and quaternary ammonium compounds, ii) from 0.1 to 5 wt % perfume, iii) 0.2 to 6 wt % of porous microparticles comprising sol-gel derived material, the sol-gel derived material including a plurality of alkylsiloxy substituents and wherein the sol-gel derived material is obtained from: (a) at least one first alkoxysilane precursor having the formula: (RO).sub.3Si(CH.sub.2).sub.nAr(CH.sub.2).sub.mSi(OR).sub.3 (1) where n and m are individually an integer from 1 to 8, Ar is a single-, fused-, or poly-aromatic ring, and each R is independently a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group and (b) optionally, at least one second precursor having the formula: (formula) (2) where x is 1, 2, 3 or 4; y is 0, 1, 2, 3; z is 0, 1; the total of x+y+z is 4; each R is independently an organic functional group; each an R is independently a C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl group and R is an organic bridging group, where the sol-gel derived material is swellable to at least 2.5 times its dry mass, when placed in excess acetone, whereby the weight amount of iii) exceeds the weight amount of ii) in the composition. Also, a method of prolongation of perfume delivery from a liquid laundry treatment composition comprising perfume, the method comprising the steps of: (i) adding sol-gel derived silica microparticles as described above to the liquid composition; C30068 EP (C) CPL (ii) optionally, diluting the liquid and applying the liquid or the diluted liquid to a surface to be treated to deposit the microparticles onto the surface; (iii) rinsing away the liquid or diluted liquid to leave perfume loaded microparticles on the surface to be treated; and (iv) releasing perfume from the microparticles over period of about 24 hours.

Defoaming formulations containing organopolysiloxanes
Defoamer formulations with rapid knockdown and extended performance contain specific polyorganosiloxanes having alkylene linkages between siloxy groups, silicone resins, fillers, a polyoxyethylene surfactant, and an organic or inorganic acid.
HYPOCHLOROUS ACID-BASED HAND SANITIZER
A sanitizing formulation is disclosed for use as a hand sanitizer. The formulation may include hypochlorous acid, a silicone polymer or blend thereof, sodium phosphate, hydrochloric acid, and sodium magnesium silicate. Methods of using and making the sanitizing formulation are also disclosed.
AQUEOUS SURFACTANT COMPOSITIONS
Aqueous surfactant compositions comprising one or more alpha-sulfo fatty acid disalt (A) of general formula (I),
R.sup.1CH(SO.sub.3M.sup.1)COOM.sup.2 (I), in which the radical R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 6 to 18 carbon atoms and the radicals M.sup.1 and M.sup.2, independently of one another, are selected from the group comprising H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium and alkanolamine, one or more silicone compound (B) selected from amodimethicones (B1), dimethicones (B2), dimethiconols (B3) and cyclomethicones (B4), and water.
