PRESSED, SELF-SOLIDIFYING, SOLID CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
The present invention relates to a method of making a solid cleaning composition. The method can include pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid of a self-solidifying cleaning composition. For a self-solidifying cleaning composition, pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid determines the shape and density of the solid but is not required for forming a solid. The method can employ a concrete block machine for pressing and/or vibrating. The present invention also relates to a solid cleaning composition made by the method and to solid cleaning compositions including particles bound together by a binding agent.
GUAR GUM MICROCAPSULES
Disclosed are microcapsule compositions having a microcapsule that contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule shell encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule has a particle size of 1 micron to 100 microns in diameter. The microcapsule core contains an active material. The microcapsule shell is formed of at least three moieties, in which a first moiety is derived from a polygalactomannan, a second moiety is derived from a polyisocyanate, and a third moiety is derived from a multi-functional aldehyde or a tannic acid.

A detergent composition and a method of washing/cleaning urushiol at least partially, more typically substantially or completely off a surface of human skin or clothing. The detergent composition is typically a non-buffered composition that contains one or more C12 surfactants, typically at least a sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and the detergent composition is typically free of one or more of (1) any nonylphenol ethoxylate; (2) any pharmaceutically active drug or prodrug; (3) any salt in an amount that affects the functional characteristics of either of the solely C12 surfactants; (4) any salt in granular form; and/or (5) any ethoxylate that is a stand-alone ingredient.
SOLID RINSE AID COMPOSITION COMPRISING POLYACRYLIC ACID
Solid rinse aid compositions, methods of use, and methods of making said composition are disclosed. Rinse aid is provided by a solidification agent, a sheeting agent, a defoamer component, and a polyacrylic acid homopolymer or alkali metal salt thereof forming a solid compositions. Preferred solidification agents include aromatic sulfonates. Preferred sheeting agents include one or more alcohol ethyoxylates. Preferred defoamer components include a polymer compound including one or more ethylene oxide groups. The solid rinse aid compositions are preferably substantially free of sulfate and sulfate-containing compounds.
PROCESS FOR MAKING A GRANULE OR POWDER
Process making a powder or granule containing (A) at least one chelating agent selected from alkali metal salts of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) and of glutamic acid diacetate (GLDA) and of iminodisuccinic acid (IDS), (B) at least one alkali metal silicate, and (C) at least one (co)polymer containing carboxylic acid group, partially neutralized with alkali, in a weight ratio of (A):[(B)+(C)] of from 20:1 up to 100:1, wherein said powder or granule contains at least 75% by weight of chelating agent (A), said process comprising the steps of (a) mixing the at least one chelating agent (A) and the at least one alkali metal silicate (B) and the at least one (co)polymer (C) in the presence of water, (b) removing most of said water by spray-drying or spray granulation using a gas with an inlet temperature of at least 125° C.
