Bleaching-agent co-granules, method for producing said bleaching-agent co-granules, and use of said bleaching-agent co-granules
The invention relates to a bleaching-agent co-granule containing a bleach activator, a metal-containing bleach catalyst comprising at least one ligand from the group consisting of di- or trimethyltriazacyclononane and derivatives of these, and a homo- or copolymeric polycarboxylate or its salts or partial neutralizates having a pH in the range from 3 to 9. The bleaching-agent co-granule is obtained in an anhydrous granulating process, preferably by compaction at a temperature below 100 C. The invention also relates to the method of using the bleaching-agent co-granule in dishwasher detergents and to a detergent comprising said bleaching-agent co-granule.
High Performance Laundry Powder Unit Dose and Methods of Making the Same
A unit dose laundry composition includes from 1 wt. % to 10 wt. % of one or more coated enzymes, from 1 wt. % to 40 wt. % of a bleach composition comprising an oxidizing agent and one or more bleach activators, from 15 wt. % to 80 wt. % of a surfactant composition, and one or more of an alkaline compound, a detergent builder, a chelant, or a polymer composition. The unit dose laundry composition is in the form of a powder, which has a bulk density of from 500 g/L to 1300 g/L, encapsulated a polymer film. A method of making the unit dose laundry composition includes combining one or more liquid active components with one or more high absorbing solid active components to produce a powder intermediate which may be blended with other solid components.
Co-granules, washing and cleaning agents containing them and their use
Disclosed are coated or uncoated co-granules comprising the following: a) 10 to 40% by weight of cyclic sulfonimine, b) 20 to 60% by weight of bleach activator selected from the group consisting of tetraacetylethylenediamine, decanoyloxybenzoic acid or mixtures thereof, c) 0.1 to 5% by weight of organic acid in the form of the free acid and/or a salt thereof in partially neutralized form, d) 1 to 15% by weight of polyvinyl alcohol as a binder, e) 10 to 25% by weight of desicant selected from the group consisting of alkali metal sulfate, alkali metal carbonate, alkaline earth metal sulfate, alkaline earth metal carbonate, alkaline earth metal oxide, aluminum oxide, hydrates of these compounds or mixtures of two or more thereof, f) 0 to 0.5% by weight of dye and/or pigment, and g) 0 to 5% by weight of water, wherein the percentages relate to the sum of components a) to g) and the sum of components a) to g) is 100 percent.
These co-granules are stable in storage over a longer period of time and contain ingredients which do not tend to discolor during storage or which, in the case of colored co-granules, do not tend to change color.
Metal free bleaching composition
The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising specific a-amino-ketones, H.sub.2O.sub.2, a H.sub.2O.sub.2 precursor or a peracid and optionally an activator as a bleaching mixture for textile materials or dishes either manually or in an automatic washing machine or dish washer. Further aspects of the invention are the composition comprising specific a-aminoketones and H.sub.2O.sub.2, a H.sub.2O.sub.2 precursor or a peracid and a process for bleaching of stains or of soiling on textile materials or dishes in the context of a washing process either manually or in an automatic washing machine or dish washer. Also aspects of the invention are detergent formulations comprising such a composition and novel compounds.
Compositions and methods for cleaning water filtration media
Compositions and methods for removing surface deposits in situ from filtration media contained in water filtration beds may include a solid acid component, a solid oxidizer, low temperature activator, a dessicant, an anti-caking agent, a pH indicator, a corrosion inhibitor, a surfactant, a chelating agent, and/or a defoaming agent. A granular acid component may include sodium bisulfate, and a granular oxidizing component may include at least one of sodium percarbonate, sodium perborate, potassium percarbonate, and potassium perborate. Compositions may be applied to top surface and/or subsurface regions of a filter bed, in wetted or dry form. A kit includes a container with dry composition and instructions or indicia for cleaning water filtration media using the composition.
Activation of peroxygen bleach
A peracid bleaching species is formed in situ in aqueous wash liquor by reaction of a peroxygen bleach precursor, such as perborate or percarbonate, and a bleach activator. The bleach activator is an acetylated ethylene diamine, that comprises at least 25% triacetyl ethylene diamine. The peracid is formed more rapidly even at low temperatures (F2) compared to use of conventional pure tetracetyl ethylene diamine (F1) and better disinfectant properties result.

Bleach catalyst detergent compositions are provided. The compositions are suitable for use with additional detergent and/or bleaching compositions while providing bleach catalysts within a detergent composition. The detergent compositions are free of anionic surfactant, are highly aqueous and have a pH of less than 6. Methods of use for cleaning are disclosed.
NONIONIC SURFACTANT-BASED LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING A MANGANESE BLEACH CATALYST
