A face shield adapted to protect the face from biohazards during medical procedures is disclosed. The central portion of the face shield includes a horizontally centered cut out that extends downwardly from a top edge. The cut out is sized and positioned to allow a loupe light to pass through. The central portion of the face shield may be hingedly connected to a pair of side portions. A pair of side portions extends outwardly from respective sides of the central portion. Each of the pair of side portions includes attachment structure, such as a clip, to attach the face shield to the temples of a pair of loupes.

MUD VISOR FOR ROLL-OFF FILM SYSTEM

A mud visor formed by a substantially transparent sheet is attached to a goggle lens. The mud visor may be attached to the goggle lens using a substantially transparent adhesive or adhesive tape. Thus, the mud visor may provide clear and improved field of view for the user. Further, the mud visor may be configured to cover and guide a top portion of a roll-off film as the roll-off film is conveyed across the goggle lens. A top portion of the mud visor may be inserted into the lens groove of a goggle frame along with the goggle lens when the goggle lens is attached to the goggle frame. The mud visor also may stretch across the goggle lens and overlap with film canisters at both sides to provide a seamless coverage to prevent mud from entering behind the mud visor or the roll-off film.

An assembled full-face mask includes a goggle, an outer lens, and a mask shell. The outer lens includes a sheet and a pivotal frame that is connected to the sheet. The pivotal frame is assembled to the goggle, and the outer lens is rotatable relative to the goggle along a first axis. The mask shell includes two connection rods assembled to the goggle and a shell body that is connected to the two connection rods. The mask shell is rotatable relative to the goggle along a second axis that is parallel to and spaced apart from the first axis. When one of the outer lens and the mask shell is rotated relative to the goggle by a first angle, another one of the outer lens and the mask shell is rotatable relative to the goggle by a second angle that is less than the first angle.

A facial protection equipment for an easy operation of rotating opening and closing, includes: a facial protection unit of which one side is supported at one side of a face of an operator and which shields and protects at least the one side of the face of the operator; a fixing unit that is worn on a head of the operator; and a connection member of which one end portion is coupled to one side of the fixing unit to be rotatable in an up-down direction and another end portion is coupled to the facial protection unit, where the connection member has a pivot bracket of which one end portion is coupled to the one side of the fixing unit to be rotatable in the up-down direction.

Depth filter for visual prostheses

The present invention is a depth sensing visual prosthesis. By depth sensing objects within an image, items located at a certain depths from the user can be removed to declutter an image. The resulting image presents only objects within a range of depth from the visual prosthesis user. Depth sensing can be accomplished in various ways including structured light, time of flight, or preferably, a stereo camera pair.

Active dichoptic perceptual-learning tasks or dichoptic game play have been shown to significantly improve visual acuity of amblyopic children and adults. However, these dichoptic perceptual learning tasks are intensive and repetitive such that non-compliance is high. In contrast, the invention provides dichoptic perceptual learning in a manner that the user maintains its use and compliance is increased. Further, compliance becomes automatic if the user performs tasks in a normal manner and “forgets” that they are actually under-going treatment as it is integrated with minimal disruption to their life and activities. Accordingly, a methodology exploiting complementary dichoptic stimulation is presented.
