Mud visor for roll-off film system

A mud visor formed by a substantially transparent sheet is attached to a goggle lens. The mud visor may be attached to the goggle lens using a substantially transparent adhesive or adhesive tape. Thus, the mud visor may provide clear and improved field of view for the user. Further, the mud visor may be configured to cover and guide a top portion of a roll-off film as the roll-off film is conveyed across the goggle lens. A top portion of the mud visor may be inserted into the lens groove of a goggle frame along with the goggle lens when the goggle lens is attached to the goggle frame. The mud visor also may stretch across the goggle lens and overlap with film canisters at both sides to provide a seamless coverage to prevent mud from entering behind the mud visor or the roll-off film.

A protective goggle assembly having a pair of eye cup assemblies adapted to be easily adjusted by medical personnel. A cooperating ball and socket structure is provided within a housing structure extending from each eye cup assembly and which receive the nose bridge wire ends of a formed nose bridge wire. Each socket ball has a formed channel therethrough to receive the nose bridge wire ends and to provide adjustability. The ball and socket structure permit medical personnel to rotate the nose bridge during a medical procedure without effecting the position of the eye cups covering the patient's eyes.

Metamaterial optical filter and method for producing the same

A metamaterial optical filter including: a transparent substrate; and a photosensitive polymer layer provided to the transparent substrate, wherein the photosensitive polymer layer is treated using a laser to form a non-conformal holographically patterned subwavelength grating, the holographic grating configured to block a predetermined wavelength of electromagnetic radiation. A system and method for manufacturing holographically patterned subwavelength grating onto the photosensitive polymer layer including: applying a photosensitive polymer layer to a transparent substrate; placing the photosensitive polymer layer between a laser and a mirror; scanning the laser over the photosensitive polymer layer such that a holographic grating is created within the photosensitive polymer layer by interaction between the laser light and light reflected from the mirror; and stacking two or more holographically patterned subwavelength grating layers to form complex metamaterial optical filter stacks.

A work support system, including: projector which projects circularly polarized light that rotates in a helix centered about a given optical axis in one direction and travels in a first direction perpendicular to a plane of rotation; projection target disposed against the first direction and diffusely reflects the circularly polarized light projected by the projector; and eyeglasses including a pair of lenses which block, when disposed against the first direction in which the circularly polarized light projected from the projector travels, the circularly polarized light traveling in the first direction, and allow, when disposed against a second direction perpendicular to a rotating plane on which circularly polarized light that is part of the light diffusely reflected by the projection target rotating in a direction opposite to the first direction of a helix centered around a given optical axis travels, the circularly polarized light traveling in the second direction to pass.

Goggle device and spectacle frame thereof

The present disclosure discloses a goggle device and a spectacle frame thereof. The spectacle frame includes a buckling structure arranged on an end portion thereof. The buckling structure has an accommodating space and an entrance in spatial communication with the accommodating space. The buckling structure includes a cantilever arranged in the accommodating space and a retaining wall that is arranged in the accommodating space and is spaced apart from the cantilever. A free end portion of the cantilever is arranged adjacent to the entrance, and the cantilever is rotatable between a lock position and an unlock position. When the cantilever is at the lock position, the free end portion shields the entrance. When the cantilever is rotated to the unlock position by an external force, the free end portion does not shield the entrance, and the cantilever is deformed to store an elastic force.
