VISOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR SHIELDING A WEARER'S FACE
Provided are a visor assembly, visor, and a method for protecting a wearer's face. The visor assembly comprises a visor configured to connect to a disposable face mask, the visor comprising: a first surface that is substantially flat when the visor is not connected to the disposable face mask, wherein the first surface is substantially curved when the visor is connected to the disposable face mask and worn; a second surface that is substantially flat when the visor is not connected to the disposable face mask, wherein the second surface is substantially curved when the visor is connected to the disposable face mask and worn; two protruding members that protrude substantially in parallel to the first surface towards the disposable face mask, each member comprising at least one slit through which at least one fastening element of the disposable face mask may pass at least once.
SWIMMING MASK
In a swimming mask, a skirt includes a circumferential wall in an annular shape extending rearward from a lens frame, and a seal portion disposed behind the circumferential wall to be brought into contact with a face of a wearer. The skirt also includes a high stiffness annular region disposed rearward apart from the lens frame, extending in both side regions and an upper region of a mask body, and having higher stiffness than stiffness of other part of the skirt.
Eyewear with integrally formed barrier
Eyewear, such as a goggle, includes a movable unitary lens and a chassis. The movable unitary lens includes an interior surface. The chassis includes a body that defines a central opening, and the body is configured to be worn on the face of a wearer. The chassis further includes a barrier that is integrally formed with the body, and the barrier includes an exterior surface that contacts the interior surface of the lens along a perimeter of the lens so as to form a seal with the lens.
Goggle systems and methods
Goggles and eyewear with various features may be described herein. Such goggles and eyewear may include lenses that allow for the installation of larger roll-off films, adjustable nose sections to increase comfort of a wearer, sweat management systems that include a permeable gasket and a gutter, lens attachment systems, and co-molded frames of multiple different materials.
Fit system using collapsible beams for wearable articles
Disclosed is a fit system for improving users' comfort with wearable articles, such as head-worn articles. The fit system includes a lattice of collapsible beams that can be constructed of elastomer foam located at the interface between the wearable article and a part of the user's body. The collapsible beam construction provides a non-linear relationship between the amount of force or pressure applied on the body part and the amount of compression of the foam.
GOGGLE WITH REPLACEABLE LENS
A goggle may include a goggle frame, a lens assembly magnetically coupled to the goggle frame, and first and second retention features securing the lens assembly to the goggle frame at first and second locations, respectively, to resist decoupling of the lens assembly from the goggle frame. The lens assembly may be removable from the goggle frame by actuating only one of the first retention feature or the second retention feature. A method of removing a lens assembly from a goggle frame may include actuating a first latch securing the lens assembly to the goggle frame; after actuating the first latch, pivoting the lens assembly away from the goggle frame about a second latch securing the lens assembly to the goggle frame; and after pivoting the lens assembly, laterally translating the lens assembly away from the second latch without actuating the second latch.
VERTICALLY LAPPED NONWOVEN IN EYEWEAR
Provided are vertically lapped nonwoven layers in eyewear with the effect of reducing condensation and moisture buildup near the face of the wearer while simultaneously improving antifogging and comfort in wearing the eyewear. Exemplary vertically lapped nonwoven dual layers comprise one or more hydrophobic layers and one or more hydrophilic layers that are adhered to each other by a plurality of methods and are further integrated into the frame of the eyewear so that the hydrophilic layer is in direct contact with the wearer's face. The hydrophilic part of the dual layer wicks sweat or bodily fluid from the wearer into the nonwoven and transports the moisture to the hydrophobic layer for fast evaporation, thus eliminating the tendency to develop fogging while keeping the skin dry. The nonwoven dual layer is environmentally friendly as the layers can be made of recycled materials and may be fully recyclable.
PROTECTIVE MASK ACCESSORIES
Face-worn accessories provide protection against air-borne particulates. A curved rigid or semi-rigid plastic frame with inner and outer surfaces surrounds an open window covered by a curved, transparent plastic shield. The upper and side portions of the frame include a compressible seal. The frame is worn over the mouth and nostrils of a wearer, with opposing side elastic members extending around the ears of a wearer, such that the compressible seal is conformal to a wearer's face. A gap at the lower portion of the frame is covered with filtration material, which may be provided by an existing removable, replaceable facial mask with the around-the-ear flexible bands of the existing mask being used to hold the entire accessory in position. The invention affords, greater visualization, improved protection with enhanced breathing, while allowing the user to chose their own mask or material for filtration purposes.
METHOD FOR PREPARING PERSONALIZED MEDICAL ISOLATION GOGGLES BY THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) PRINTING
A method for preparing a pair of personalized three-dimensional (3D) printing medical isolation goggles includes the steps of: establishing a medical isolation goggles matrix; S2: acquiring the facial data of a user; S3: establishing a personalized medical isolation goggles model; S4: performing additive manufacturing, wherein a pair of medical isolation goggles is provided with high personalized fitness and high breathability for patients with eye diseases such as conjunctivitis, virus-susceptible patients, front-line clinical medical workers and related workers, and the compression damage to the face caused by the wearing of the medical isolation goggles for a long time is reduced in terms of fitness and comfort, where the medical isolation goggles are manufactured in a mode of additive manufacturing, small-batch rapid production can be performed after data merging, and a large number of processes and costs are reduced in the production cycle.
