Fixed structure for the constricting band of snow goggles
A fixed structure for the constricting band of snow goggles includes a goggle frame, a constricting band and a fastening member combined together. The goggle frame has two sides respectively provided with an insert slot and a hooking portion; the constricting band has two sides respectively fixed with a fastening body of the fastening member, and the fastening member consists of a hooking seat and the fastening body. In assembling, the hooking seat is inserted in the insert slot of the goggle frame and clasped with the hooking portion and then, the fastening body at the two sides of the constricting band is inserted in the hooking seat and positioned therein. Thus, the fixed structure for the constricting band of snow goggles can be stably combined and impossible to fall off.
Double-lens ski goggles
Ski goggles of the type including a frame of flexible material for supporting an optical system including two mutually facing lenses connected together by a seal gasket which with said lenses forms an air chamber, the gasket being provided with at least one hole which connects the air chamber to the outside and houses a material which is permeable to air but not to water, wherein the gasket forms a cylindrical seat which is filled with said material and communicates with the outside via at least a channel.
GOGGLES THAT ELIMINATE A USER'S PERIPHERAL VISION AND ENHANCE SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WHILE STRENGTHENING MUSCLE MEMORY
Goggles eliminate peripheral vision of a user and enhance situational awareness while increasing muscle memory. The goggles comprise a goggle frame mechanically coupled to a left side blinder and a right side blinder. The goggle frame is further mechanically coupled to a wearing component. The left side blinder covers approximately one half of a left eye of the user and the right side blinder covers approximately one half of a right eye of the user giving the user a field of vision of 30 degrees to 70 degrees which can eliminate distractions and disturbances in peripheral vision of the user causing increased situational awareness and increased muscle memory.
Tear-Off Lens Capture
A tear-off capture system includes an eye protector with a base lens. The eye protector has a retention mechanism mounted on one side, and a support mechanism that supports the eye protector on the head of a wearer. A two-tabbed stack of laminated tear-off lenses mounts to the eye protector via an adhesive. The stack mounts so that the first tab of the stack aligns with the first side of the eye protector and the second tab engages with the retention mechanism. Via the second tab and the retention mechanism, released tear-off layers are directed toward the second side of the eye protector away from the base lens. A capturer helps hold the initially released tear-off layer to the eye protector. An exposed tacky surface on each released tear-off helps hold the subsequently removed tear-off layers.
Goggle systems and methods
Goggles and eyewear with various features may be described herein. Such goggles and eyewear may include lenses that allow for the installation of larger roll-off films, adjustable nose sections to increase comfort of a wearer, sweat management systems that include a permeable gasket and a gutter, lens attachment systems, and co-molded frames of multiple different materials.
Goggle strap to improve radio frequency reception and audio speaker integration
An audio player device for a pair of goggles having two eye shields. The audio player device includes an elastomeric strap configured for being coupled with each of the eye shields of the pair of googles and for being expanded around a wearer's head to secure and position the pair of goggles to the wearer. The device further includes an antenna integrated with at least a portion of the elastomeric strap. The antenna is configured to stretch upon expansion of the elastomeric strap, and to receive radio frequency (RF) signals. The device further includes an audio player device attached with the elastomeric strap and connected to the antenna to receive and play the RF signals.
Protective Eyewear
The application discloses a flexible strap for retaining protective eyewear on a wearer's head. The strap includes an energy absorbing material which is configured to deform to absorb kinetic energy on impact and which is held in contact with a first outer layer. A method of manufacture of the strap is also disclosed.
Strap Adjustment Mechanism
A strap adjustment mechanism (10) for eyewear (12) that includes a strap (14) for securing the eyewear to a user's head, the adjustment mechanism (10) comprising a body (15) having an elongate shaft (16) about which a head strap (14) can extend, the elongate extension of the shaft defining a longitudinal direction; a pawl (20) comprising a mounting portion (21) that movably mounts the pawl (20) to the body (15) and a cam (27) surface facing the body, the pawl (20) extending in a lateral direction towards the shaft from the mounting portion (21) to a free end (22), an engagement member (25) moveable between the pawl (20) and the body (15), the engagement member (25) and cam surface (27) of the pawl (20) configured to cooperate such that lateral movement of the engagement member (25) moves the free end (22) of the pawl (20) between an engaged position in which the free end (22) is able to engage a strap (14) when extending about the shaft (16); and a disengaged position in which the free end (22) is lifted away from the shaft (16) so as to be disengaged from a strap (14) when extending about the shaft (16).
Wearable assembly
In one embodiment, a wearable assembly that includes a plurality of components is provided. The components include an eyepiece assembly fittable over a portion of a wearer's face, the eyepiece assembly including one or more strands, at least a portion of the eyepiece assembly including a phase change material, wherein a shape of the eyepiece assembly changes upon an application of an energy to the phase changing portion to one or more of conform and contour to one or more features of the wearer's face; and nosepiece connected to the eyepiece assembly.
