PROTECTIVE GOGGLE
There is provided a protective goggle comprising: a lens frame to support at least one lens; and an anti-fogging and dust-removal assembly disposed in or on the frame, wherein the anti-fogging and dust-removal assembly is configured to suction an air on an inner face of the lens and discharge the suctioned air onto an outer face of the lens. The assembly provides concurrently both functions of anti-fogging and dust-removal on the lens of the goggle.
HELMET AND GOGGLES FOR USE THEREWITH AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A helmet having a movable and openable jaw shield is disclosed. The movable jaw shield is pivotable about a hinge located on the front of the helmet chin bar. The movable jaw shield in open configuration clears the space in front of the user's mouth to facilitate communications from the user. Preferably, the movable jaw shield may also be detached from the pivot to be removed or interchanged. The movable jaw shield is suited with a breath guard configured to mate with a protrusion on the lower front portion of goggles frames. The mating of the goggles and breath guard preferably substantially prevent environmental foreign materials from entering between the breath guard and goggles.
Power-saving method for defogging an eye-shield
Power saving method providing a burst of power for defogging an eye-shield apparatus with a thin-film heater, comprising: activating the heater from an off power level to an on-demand mode or from a preliminary intermediate power level during an active-on mode to a max power level and continuing heating for a predetermined first period of time, automatically reducing power after the first period of time and sustaining the lesser power for a second predetermined period of time, after which program control automatically turns off the heater, or automatically reduces the heat back to the preliminary intermediate power level depending upon the initial state of the heater upon activating the burst of power, whether on or off. The method may be repeated as often as necessary from off level in the on-demand mode, or from within a continuous active-on mode.
SURGICAL EYE SHIELD
An eye shield for releasable mounting to a face of a patient, used to inhibit direct pressure being applied to an eye or eyes of the patient during a medical procedure. The eye shield includes a resiliently deformable base having at least one aperture extending therethrough that corresponds to the position of an eye or eyes of the patient, and a curved, flexible, transparent cover plate attached to an upper surface of the base and extending over the at least one aperture. The cover plate includes first and second eye cover portions joined by an integral hinge member therebetween. The eye shield is attached to the face around the orbital rims of the respective eyes and the first and second eye cover portions are configured to pivot relative to each other around the hinge member and flex along their respective spans to generally conform to the shape of the face.
HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY DEVICE
A head-mounted display device includes a front assembly, a wearable assembly, and a cushion module. The wearable assembly is connected to the front assembly and is suitable for wearing the front assembly onto a face of a user. The cushion module includes a hard member, a soft member, and a fan. The hard member is connected to the wearable assembly. The soft member is connected to the hard member to contact skin of the user, and has a rear channel. The fan communicates with the rear channel. The soft member is connected to the hard member to contact the skin of the user, and the fan drives airflow to flow through the rear channel of the soft member to provide a heat dissipation effect.
Eyewear with ventilation openings
Eyewear is provided that has one or more lenses and a shield, the shield comprising a material that resists the passage of solids and liquids there through, and the shield is formed with one or more adjustable sections that allow one or more vents to be formed in said shield.
Eyewear with Ventilation Openings
Eyewear is provided that has one or more lenses and a shield, the shield comprising a material that resists the passage of solids and liquids there through, and the shield is formed with one or more adjustable sections that allow one or more vents to be formed in said shield.
A DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE FACE OF A USER, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE EYES OF A USER
Described is a protective device for the face of a user, in particular for the eyes of a user, including a transparent visor designed to allow the user to see through the protective device and a supporting frame designed to allow the fixing of the protective device to the face of a user. The protective device has at least one opening designed to allow a passage of air from the inside to the outside and vice versa of an operating space defined, in use, by the protective device and by the face of the user. The protective device comprises a filtering device configured for filtering the air passing through said opening.
Surgical Face Shield
A face shield is formed of a sheet of flexible material bent in an arc about a user's face with ends supported by the temples of glasses worn by the user. Cut outs allow use of the face shield without interference with the glasses lenses or accessories such as eye loupes worn during
