Ear device with dynamic noise attenuation and generation
An ear-and-eye mask (10) is provided comprising a noise-attenuation-and-generation assembly (46) having a digital domain, the noise-attenuation-and-generation assembly comprising, in the digital domain, a noise cancelling-circuit (48) and a noise masking circuit (64), wherein the noise-cancelling circuit (48) receives an input from an audio capture device (56) thereof which communicates with the noise masking circuit (64). An adaptive spectral noise analyser and generator is provided which determines an unwanted remnant signal comprising the leftover unwanted frequency and/or volume after noise cancellation, and wherein the noise attenuation-and-generation assembly (46) then determines and generates a compensation frequency and/or volume for countering this unwanted remnant signal following noise attenuation for output by a speaker (36) through a stem (40) direct to the user's ears.
Hearing protection and communication apparatus using vibration sensors
Hearing protection and communication apparatus using vibration sensors are disclosed. An example wearable electronic device includes means for transducing vibrations associated with speech into a first signal; means for transducing sound associated with ambient noise into a second signal; and means for processing to cause a speaker to output a signal to reduce the ambient noise; detect an identifier in the speech; and cause audio data representative of the speech to be transmitted to a second device associated with the identifier.
LENS CLEANING SYSTEM FOR GOGGLES
A goggle includes a frame, a lens disposed within the frame, and a continuous roll-off system coupled to at least one of the frame and the lens. The continuous roll-off system includes a first canister positioned at a first end of the goggle, a second canister positioned at an opposing second end of the goggle, and a continuous loop of film extending across the lens and configured to selectively cycle between the first canister and the second canister.
PROTECTIVE EYE COVER SYSTEM
A protective eye cover system comprising a nonporous dome-shaped lens shaped to fit over a human eye cavity and encircle an associated eye. The system also comprises a flexible base ring coupled to the lens, the base ring exhibiting sufficient flexibility to permit close adherence to the eye cavity. An adhesive attached to the base ring promotes a seal of the coupled base ring and lens to surface skin of the eye cavity. The sealing of the coupled base ring and lens to surface skin of the eye cavity prevents liquids from contacting the eye and surrounding area and further protect eyelash extensions from at least one of liquids, steam and heat. The lens is configured with a depth such that an inner surface of the lens does not contact eyelashes and eyelash extensions of a wearer. An anti-fogging agent prevents obstruction of wearer view.
Roll-off film system
Roll-off film systems and methods are provided in accordance with one or more embodiments that may be installed on goggle frames or adaptors to goggle frames to provide improved field of vision for users. In particular, film canisters of the roll-off film systems may include a blade section configured to seamlessly contact the goggle frame or the adaptor to the goggle frame. Further, the blade section is configured remove mud or dirt from a used section of clear film when the used section is conveyed into the film canister to prevent excess mud or dirt from entering the film canister. The blade section also is configured to slant away from the lens of the goggle to allow the mud or dirt to fall away from the field of view on the lens to provide better field of view for the user.
Goggle
A Goggle is provided which enables an improvement in skiing skills and techniques. A goggle 1 of the present invention comprises a lens body 11, a lens body supporting part 12 configured to support the lens body 11, a face plate part 13 positioned on a peripheral edge part behind the lens body supporting part 12, having flexibility and capable of coming into contact with a face of a wearer, and a gaze correcting part 14 provided in a center of the face plate part, having a rectangular column shape and enabling correction of a gaze of the wearer, the gaze correcting part 14 having mutually different colors on a facing surface 14a facing the wearer, a right side surface 14b located to the right of the facing surface 14a and a left side surface 14c located to the left of the facing surface 14a and dividing a field of view of the wearer into a right field of view and a left field of view.
GLASSES FRAME STRUCTURE
A glasses frame structure includes a chassis, a pair of temples, a pair of hinges, and a plurality of fasteners. The chassis has a pair of front rims and a pair of side rims respectivey next to the front rims. Each of the side rims of the chassis can receive a first side lens. Each temple has a rimmed portion adjacent to one of the side rims of the chassis. The rimmed portion of each of the temples can receive a second side lens. The hinges can pivotally connect the temples to the chassis. Some of the fasteners can fix the hinges and the first side lenses to the chassis, while some of the fasteners can fix the hinges and the second side lenses to the temples. With the glass frame structure, the side lenses can be installed more easily and firmly.
SAFETY GLASSES FOR HUMAN USER; SAFETY SYSTEM
Protective goggles for human use including a pair of protective goggles for human use with at least one lens, an upper edge that is positioned against the user's forehead and a lower edge that is positioned against the user's cheek. Each of the user's eyes are covered by a separate section of lens and each of these sections extends along at least one line of curvature. It is intended that each lens section has a first and a second line of curvature that, at least in substantial part, are positioned transversely to one another, and along which the individual sections of lens extend; furthermore, that the lines of curvature of one lens section are inclined towards the lines of curvature of the other lens section in terms of their positioning.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO MANAGE MEIBOMIAN GLAND DEFICIENCIES
A plurality of methods and apparatus for managing deficiencies of the meibomian gland lipid production and delivery, including wearable fabrics configured with a matrix of micro- and nano-electromechanical materials, or composite fibres of yarn that are substantially made from carbon nanotubes, graphene, spider silk, natural silk, denim, cotton, metals, or combination thereof. Other methods and apparatus include infrared and ultrasound energy sources within a kit aimed at personalised therapies for improving overall health of the eyelids, while providing for adjunctive relief for associated dry eye symptoms. The management kit may comprise a wearable fabric or spectacle frame configured with infrared emitters and sensors, a handheld imaging device and software containing dosage and administration information coupled with information on improving eyelid hygiene which is reviewed and periodically updated using user-specific information.
