PERSONAL PROTECTIVE SYSTEM TOOL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A tool communication adapter system is provided. One exemplary system described herein includes a tool communication adapter having an adapter body including first and second mechanical attachment ends, a first electrical connector proximate the first mechanical attachment end and a second electrical connector proximate the second mechanical attachment end, a first supply channel having an opening extending through the body between the first and second mechanical attachment ends, and including a first supply channel connector at the first attachment end and a second supply channel connector at the second mechanical attachment end, and a control unit in communication with the first and second electrical connectors. The control unit is configured to provide a filter command signal to a protective filter in response to a signal received at the first electrical connector. An exemplary tool communication adapter thus allows communication between a tool and personal protective equipment.
Goggles
Disclosed are goggles. The goggles are provided so that they comprise: a main body unit worn on the face of a user; a lens unit that is coupled to the main body unit and has a fastening protrusion formed to protrude toward the main body unit; and a fastening unit that has a fastening recess formed therein and is coupled to the main body to lock and unlock the fastening protrusion, wherein the fastening unit includes a body part movably coupled to the main body unit and a guide protrusion for guiding the moving direction of the body part, the main body unit has a guide hole formed at a position corresponding to the guide protrusion, the guide protrusion being received in the guide hole, and the fastening unit further included a protrusion part coupled to the body part to push the fastening protrusion outward such that the lens unit is separated from the main body unit when the fastening protrusion is unlocked according to the movement of the body part into the main body unit.
OXYGEN ENRICHMENT DURING CORNEAL COLLAGEN CROSSLINKING
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus relating to corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL). In some embodiments, disclosed methods and apparatus provide boosted oxygen diffusion into corneal stroma and make possible efficacious accelerated CXL using a non-contact apparatus that reduces use of disposable supplies. In some embodiments, increased atmospheric oxygen concentration around a corneal outer surface occurs, which increases oxygen diffusion into stroma. Accordingly, in some embodiments, increased CXL efficacy occurs as well as reduced overall procedure time.
WELDING HELMET WITH A STEPLESS ADJUSTABLE PROTECTIVE SHIELD STOP
There is provided a welding helmet (1) that has a protective shield (2) and a head suspension system (6). The protective shield and the head suspension system are pivotally connected to each other for swiveling the protective shield relative to the head suspension system about a pivot axis in opposite directions upward or downward between a protective position, in which the protective shield covers a wearer's face, and an up-raised position, in which the protective shield uncovers the wearer's face. The welding helmet further has a stop mechanism that restricts downward swiveling beyond the protective position. The stop mechanism (10) is adjustable by a worm gear mechanism (11, 12) between a low position and a high position. In the low position the protective position of the protective shield is offset downward with respect to the high position.
Protector for welding
This application relates to a protector for welding. In one aspect, the protector includes a main body configured to protect a face of a welder and a darkening section located on a front surface portion of the main body. The protector may also include an auxiliary shield that is arranged adjacent to one edge of a main body and includes a main surface portion extending in a direction away from the main body.

Protective headwear with airflow
In one aspect, a protective headwear is provided and includes an outer shell, a first shell duct coupled to the outer shell and including a first exhaust port, and a second shell duct coupled to the outer shell and spaced apart from the first shell duct. The second shell duct includes a second exhaust port. The protective headwear also includes a manifold positioned externally of the outer shell and configured to divert airflow into at least a first portion of airflow and a second portion of airflow. The manifold includes a first diversion member coupled to and in fluid communication with the first shell duct to provide the first portion of airflow to the first shell duct, and a second diversion member coupled to and in fluid communication with the second shell duct to provide the second portion of airflow to the second shell duct.
Augmented and mediated reality welding helmet systems
A welding helmet system is provided. The welding helmet system includes a protective shell and a welding display system. The welding display system is configured to be removably coupled to the protective shell. The welding display system is configured to receive data from a sensor, and to display a welding metric derived from the sensor via the image generation system.
