NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND DRESSING
A negative pressure wound dressing is provided. The negative pressure wound dressing sequentially includes a barrier layer, an indicating layer, a liquid impermeable, a liquid impermeable, gas permeable layer, an absorbent layer and a wound contacting layer, wherein, the barrier layer comprises a connecting hole for fluidly connecting a negative pressure source, and the indicating layer comprises at least one visual indicating element on the surface adjacent to the barrier layer. By using the negative pressure wound dressing of the present invention, the user can be reminded to replace the dressing timely by the visual indicating element which can detect the wound exudates absorption in the absorbing layer to effectively improve the wound healing.
Wound dressing and method of treatment
A wound dressing, a method of manufacturing a wound dressing, and a method of treating a patient are disclosed. The wound dressing may include an absorbent layer for absorbing wound exudate; and an obscuring element for at least partially obscuring a view of wound exudate absorbed by the absorbent layer in use.
HEMORRHAGE CONTROL DEVICE
A wound dressing having a chromic material responsive to at least one stimuli. In one or more embodiments, a plurality of individual liquid expandable articles introduce the chromatic material to the wound. The individual liquid-expandable articles release stored mechanical energy and mechanically expand into expanded articles upon contact with a liquid associated with the wound. In response to the chromic material receiving the at least one stimuli the chromic material provides a color change evidencing how long the expanded articles have been in contact with the wound and where the expanded articles are within the wound. In one or more embodiments, determinations may be made about removing the expanded articles from the wound based on the color of the chromic material.
WOUND DRESSING APPARATUS WITH FLEXIBLE DISPLAY
Disclosed embodiments relate to apparatuses for wound treatment. In certain embodiments, a negative pressure wound therapy apparatus comprises a wound dressing. The wound dressing can include a backing layer configured to cover a wound and be positioned over a skin surface surrounding the wound and a dressing display positioned on or underneath the backing layer and facing away from the skin surface. In some embodiments, the dressing display can be configured to be in electrical communication with one or more sensors configured to be positioned within the wound and a controller configured to capture information about the condition of the wound from the sensors and display the captured information on the dressing display.
Anisotropic drapes and systems
An anisotropic wound drape for treating a wound on a patient includes a flexible sheet for placing over a tissue site. The flexible sheet includes a first isotropic zone, and a second isotropic zone. The first isotropic zone and the second isotropic zone are configured to provide the flexible sheet with anisotropic stretching properties. The anisotropic drape may used as part of a reduced-pressure wound treatment system. Other systems and methods are also presented.
Dressing with moisture indicator
A medical dressing includes an adhesive, permeable layer, a fabric support, and a hydrochromatic layer. The adhesive, permeable layer is configured to adhere to skin near a wound, for example, an intravenous catheter or other percutaneous device insertion site. The fabric support is disposed on the adhesive, permeable layer. The hydrochromatic layer is disposed on the fabric support, and is configured to change a color appearance responsive to contact with moisture.
WOUND DRESSING ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a wound dressing assembly, in particular for dressing wounds in the region of enteroatmospheric fistulas, comprising an in particular gas-tight covering device for covering the wound and/or a skin region surrounding the wound, which covering device inhibits the penetration of fluids, characterized by an opening in the covering device and a reinforcing device, which is associated with the opening and is connected to the covering device in a fluid-tight manner and counteracts deformation of the covering device in the region of the opening, wherein a vacuum can be produced in a space bounded by the covering device, by the skin or wound covered by the covering device, and by the reinforcing device.
ADHESIVE PATCH
An adhesive patch comprising: a support; at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the support; and a release liner attached on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so as to cover the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which the support is a 3D patterned sheet characterized in that a plurality of protruded lines and recessed lines parallelly and linearly extending are formed inside and outside lines in a plurality of figures partitioned by the lines, walls of the protruded lines and recessed lines in some of the figures are formed to be inclined by different inclination angles with respect to a base part, and the protruded lines have different heights from the base part, serving as physical parameters of the protruded lines and recessed lines, toward a predetermined direction in the sheet.
Collapsible dressing for negative pressure wound treatment
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to negative pressure treatment systems and wound dressing systems, apparatuses, and methods that may be used for the treatment of wounds. In particular, some embodiments are directed to improved wound dressings comprising an obscuring layer that may hide fluid contained therein and a stabilizing structure that may aid in wound closure.
Dressing Augmentation To Promote Epithelialization
A treatment system for applying negative-pressure therapy to a wound site is disclosed. The treatment system may include a non-adherent material for applying to the perimeter of the wound site. In some embodiments, the treatment system may include a tape, a tissue interface, a sealing member, and a negative-pressure subsystem. The tape material may provide a smooth surface along the perimeter of the wound site for protecting the wound edges from stresses and for promoting epithelialization.
