Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to negative pressure treatment systems and wound dressing systems, apparatuses, and methods that may be used for the treatment of wounds. In particular, some embodiments are directed to improved wound dressings comprising an obscuring layer that may hide fluid contained therein. Some embodiments may further comprise one or more viewing windows disposed therethrough so as to enable monitoring or examination of fluids contained therein.

A wound treatment apparatus is provided for treating tissue damage, which comprises a fluid impermeable wound cover sealed over a site for purposes of applying a reduced pressure to the site. The apparatus also can include a cover with protrusions on its surface for purposes of monitoring pressure at the site. One or more sensors can be positioned under the cover to provide feedback to a suction pump controller. The apparatus can have a miniature and portable vacuum source connected to the wound cover.

Notches may be provided where the straps meet the central main portion, and may be formed into the central main portion adjacent to respective straps. With the notches, when the compression garment is in a wrapped position, lateral edges of adjacent straps that are associated with the notches overlap without gaps or bunching of the strap material. The compression garment may include distal and proximal counter pull tabs that extend from opposite edges of the central main portion. When the distal and proximal counter pull tabs are pulled by the user, pulling forces are transmitted in opposing directions to tension the straps. A removable fastening tab is provided respectively at ends of each of the straps. The fastening tabs are repositionable at different locations on the straps, resulting in a compression garment that is both reversible and easily sized for a customized fit.

The present invention relates to a dispenser for the silicone sheeting and the adhesive anchors and method for treating sites, such as wounds or closed incisions, using the silicone sheeting and anchors. The silicone sheeting may be provided in the form of a roll, which includes a leader. The silicone sheeting may be cut from the roll, or may be of precut sizes. Adhesive anchors may be cut from a roll or may be of precut sizes. The dispenser allows for easy access to silicone sheeting for wound treatment and adhesive anchors for securement of the silicone sheets, especially in high tension areas of the body.

In order to reduce a cost with a simple configuration, a covering article includes a liquid diffusive sheet having a property of diffusing absorbed liquid, a moisture-permeable film laminated on the liquid diffusive sheet, and a plurality of elastic members joined to at least one of the liquid diffusive sheet or the moisture-permeable film and arranged substantially in parallel. A pair of opposing side edges are joined such that the plurality of elastic members are substantially annular. The liquid diffusive sheet is positioned closer to a skin of a user than the moisture-permeable film when the user wears the covering article, and the substantially annular elastic members press a wearing site of the user.
