Wound dressing
A method and apparatus are disclosed for dressing a wound. The apparatus comprises an absorbent layer for absorbing wound exudate, a liquid impermeable, gas permeable filter layer over the absorbent layer, a cover layer comprising at least one orifice and a first liquid and gas permeable transmission layer underlying the absorbent layer. The transmission layer is in fluid communication with the filter layer.
CONDENSATE ABSORBING AND DISSIPATING SYSTEM
A dressing for treating a tissue site may include a base layer, a sealing member, a first and a second wicking layer, and an absorbent layer. The base layer may have a plurality of apertures and may be adapted to cover the tissue site. The sealing member and the base layer may define an enclosure. The first and the second wicking layer may each be disposed in the enclosure with the absorbent layer positioned between the first and the second wicking layer. A conduit comprised of an absorbent material that is vapor permeable and liquid impermeable may be in fluid communication with the dressing for providing reduced pressure to the dressing. Other dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.
TISSUE TREATMENT DEVICE
Disclosed embodiments relate to apparatuses and methods for wound treatment with ultrasound. In certain embodiments, a therapeutic ultrasound wound treatment apparatus includes a wound dressing configured to be positioned over a wound to provide a substantially fluid impermeable seal over the wound and a transducer to deliver therapeutic ultrasound to tissue. The therapeutic ultrasound wound treatment apparatus may further include a wound contact layer configured to be positioned in contact with the wound, a transmission layer positioned above the wound contact layer, an absorbent layer positioned above the transmission layer and configured to absorb wound fluid, and a backing layer positioned above the absorbent layer and including an orifice. Also disclosed are multiple parameters for the therapeutic ultrasound signal.
FOUR-WAY STRETCH THERAPEUTIC COMPRESS ASSEMBLY, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A therapeutic compress assembly, system, and method for treating an area of a user is disclosed herein. The therapeutic compress assembly includes an elastic fabric compress and an absorbent pad. The elastic fabric compress is stretchable in a length direction and a width direction. The absorbent pad is coupled to a first side of the elastic fabric compress. The absorbent pad may be impregnated with a medication or an oil. In use, the therapeutic compress assembly is applied to the area of the user.
PRE-CUT ADHESIVE SUPPORTS FOR ANATOMICAL SUPPORT OR THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT
An elongate strap support system for anatomical support, pain reduction, or therapeutic treatment includes a package containing a first elongate strap support and at least one additional elongate strap support. In one example, the first elongate strap support includes a woven fabric support layer including synthetic fibers. The woven fabric is shaped so as to form an elongated strap with rounded portions. The woven fabric is substantially resistant to stretching in one direction under such test conditions as those specified in ASTM D3759. The first elongate strap support additionally includes an adhesive layer on the support layer for adhesive attachment of the woven fabric support layer to an outer skin surface of a body and a removable cover layer on the adhesive layer.

An example device for facilitating healing of a Cesarian section incision on a patient can include: a base configured to attach to skin of the patient, at least partially surrounding the Cesarian section incision; and a dome coupled with the base and extending over the Cesarian section incision, wherein the dome is configured to resist collapse when the device is worn under clothing.

ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE FOR ANATOMICAL SUPPORT, PAIN REDUCTION, OR THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT
A method for manufacturing stretch resistant plantar fascia support system is provided. The stretch resistant plantar fascia support system is adhesively applied to the foot of a patient for providing relief from plantar fasciitis. A portion of the stretch resistant plantar fascia support system is adhesively attached to the bottom surface of the foot for reducing stress on the plantar fascia.
Bandaging device

The wound care device includes a contact pad connected with a securing strap. The securing strap includes an inelastic strap segment and an elastic strap segment. The elastic strap segment is coupled with an attachment segment, which attaches to the inelastic strap segment and cooperates with the elastic strap segment to compress the contact pad to the wound.
