Disclosed is an incomplete extraction method for recycling batteries, which may include: introducing a pretreatment gas into a device loaded with a waste battery powder, and bringing a gas outlet into communication with absorption liquid A and absorption liquid B in order; raising the temperature and introducing the pretreatment gas; reducing the temperature and introducing a reaction gas; raising the temperature, introducing the reaction gas, and then introducing the pretreatment gas; and reducing the temperature, and turning off the pretreatment gas; adding an extractant to absorption liquid A, mixing the mixture, taking organic phase A, adding a stripping agent, and taking aqueous phase A; and adjusting the pH to acidity, then adding an extractant, taking organic phase B, adding a stripping agent to obtain a stock solution enriched in Li, Mn, Ni and Co.
MANGANESE-LITHIUM SEPARATION PROCESS AND PRE-EXTRACTION SOLUTION PREPARATION PROCESS IN COMPREHENSIVE RECOVERY OF TERNARY BATTERY WASTES, AND METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE RECOVERY OF COBALT, NICKEL, MANGANESE AND LITHIUM ELEMENTS FROM TERNARY BATTERY WASTES
A manganese-lithium separation process and a pre-extraction solution preparation process in comprehensive recovery of ternary battery wastes, and a method for comprehensive recovery of cobalt, nickel, manganese and lithium elements from the ternary battery wastes, relates to a method for recycling battery wastes. According to the present disclosure, cobalt and nickel ions are separated from an impurity-removed solution by a hydrolysis method; manganese, lithium and other ions in the impurity-removed solution are free from an extraction procedure, so that most manganese ions are separated and removed by a wet method before extraction, to prevent the manganese ions from entering the extraction system; nickel ions are free from an extraction procedure of full extraction and full back-extraction; and nickel hydroxide is directly precipitated after related impurities are removed by extraction.
EXTRACTION METHOD FOR REMOVING ALUMINUM FROM TERNARY BATTERY MATERIAL LEACHATE
Disclosed is a method for removing aluminum in a ternary battery material leachate by adopting an extraction method, which comprises the following steps: (1) saponification: mixing an extraction solvent with a saponifying agent to obtain a saponified extraction solvent; (2) extraction: mixing the ternary battery material leachate with the saponified extraction solvent to obtain a loaded organic phase and a raffinate; (3) back extraction: mixing the loaded organic phase with a back-extraction agent, followed by performing a back-extraction to obtain an organic phase and a back-extraction solution; the extraction solvent comprises an extracting agent and a diluent. The extraction method is adopted to separate nickel, cobalt, manganese and aluminum, having the advantages of less heavy metal entrainment, short process flow, and high metal recovery rate. The extraction rate of the aluminum can reach 97.42 percent.
METHOD FOR RECOVERING VALUABLE METAL
A method for recovering at least cobalt of valuable metals, cobalt and nickel, from an acidic solution obtained by subjecting waste containing positive electrode materials for lithium ion secondary batteries to a wet process, the acidic solution comprising cobalt ions, nickel ions and impurities, the method including: a first extraction step for Co recovery, the first extraction step being for extracting cobalt ions by solvent extraction from the acidic solution and stripping the cobalt ions; and a second extraction step for Co recovery, the second extraction step being for extracting cobalt ions by solvent extraction from a stripped solution obtained in the first extraction step for Co recovery and stripping the cobalt ions, wherein the first extraction step for Co recovery includes: a solvent extraction process for extracting cobalt ions in the acidic solution into a solvent; a scrubbing process for scrubbing the solvent that has extracted the cobalt ions; and a stripping process for stripping the cobalt ions in the solvent after the scrubbing into a solution.

The present disclosure provides a method of recovering copper, molybdenum, and a precious metal value from a metal-bearing material, the method comprising bulk flotation of the metal-bearing material to form a flotation product, wherein the metal-bearing material comprises a copper compound, a molybdenum compound, at least one precious metal value, and a silicate, pressure oxidizing the flotation product to form a pressure oxidized discharge, separating the pressure oxidized discharge to form a separated liquid and separated solid, extracting molybdenum, via a molybdenum solution extraction, from the separated liquid to form a molybdenum-containing stream and a copper-containing stream, extracting copper, via a copper solution extraction, from the copper-containing stream, and extracting the precious metal value, via a cyanide leaching process, from the separated solid.
METHOD FOR RECOVERING ACTIVE METAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
In a method for recovering an active metal of a lithium secondary battery, a sulfuric acid solution is added to a lithium metal composite oxide so as to prepare a sulfated active material solution. A transition metal is extracted from the sulfated active material solution. A lithium precursor is recovered by adding a lithium extracting agent to the solution remaining after the transition metal has been extracted from the sulfated active material solution. In the method, the amount of impurities is reduced, and sulfuric acid and the neutralizing agent can be recycled so that a high-yield lithium precursor recovery is enabled.

Recovery of critical elements from end-of-life lithium ion batteries with supported membrane solvent extraction
Single-stage and multi-stage systems and methods for the recovery of critical elements in substantially pure form from lithium ion batteries are provided. The systems and methods include supported membrane solvent extraction using an immobilized organic phase within the pores of permeable hollow fibers. The permeable hollow fibers are contacted by a feed solution on one side, and a strip solution on another side, to provide the simultaneous extraction and stripping of elements from dissolved lithium ion cathode materials, while rejecting other elements from the feed solution. The single- and multi-stage systems and methods can selectively recover cobalt, manganese, nickel, lithium, aluminum and other elements from spent battery cathodes and are not limited by equilibrium constraints as compared to traditional solvent extraction processes.
