GRANULAR THERMAL INSULATION MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a granular thermal insulation material comprising hydrophobized silicon dioxide and at least one IR opacifier, having a tamped density of up to 250 g/l and a compressive strength according to DIN EN 826:2013 at 50% compression of 150 to 300 kPa or greater than 300 kPa, to processes for production thereof and to the use thereof for thermal insulation.
SEALANT SYSTEM FOR CHLORINATED WATER POOLS
A method for adhesively sealing a joint or a surface in or on a building structure that is in contact with chlorinated water, includes the steps: applying a primer composition P onto the surface or into the joint to be sealed; waiting for primer composition P to be cured; applying a moisture-curable sealant composition S onto the cured primer composition P, thus sealing the joint or the surface; and curing the moisture-curable sealant composition S by means of moisture; wherein said primer composition P comprises: at least one polyol and at least one polyisocyanate, or a polyurethane reaction product thereof, and at least one organic solvent; and wherein said moisture-curable sealant composition S includes: between 10 and 60 wt.-%, based on the total composition S, of at least one organic polymer having hydrolysable silane groups, and at least one silane curing catalyst.

PROCESS FOR TREATING A SUBSTRATE MADE OF STONE MATERIAL
A process for treating a substrate made of stone material, preferably in the form of slabs, is provided which process improves the mechanical, thermal and catalytic properties of the substrate. The process includes applying a protective coating to the outer surface of the substrate made of stone material and, to improve adhesion of the protective coating to the outer surface of the substrate, preliminarily subjecting the substrate to one or more pre-treatment steps that eliminate or reduce the presence of pollutants and porosity on the surface of the substrate. The pre-treatment of the substrate made of stone material comprises at least one step of treatment under vacuum conditions inside an autoclave, preferably under pressure conditions lower than 10.sup.2 mbar. Then, after having brought the substrate back to ambient pressure, it is possible to apply and effectively adhere the protective coating to the surface of the stone material.
HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL AND HEAT INSULATING STRUCTURE USING SAME
A heat insulating material is a sheet including a fiber and an aerogel. The fiber is aligned in a certain direction in the sheet. A heat insulating structure is used that includes: a high-temperature unit; a low-temperature; and the heat insulating material joining the high-temperature unit and the low-temperature to each other. The certain direction of the heat insulating material is a direction in which the high-temperature unit and the low-temperature unit are joined to each other. A heat insulating structure is used that includes: a first battery cell; a second battery cell; the heat insulating material disposed between the first battery cell and the second battery cell; and a cooling plate that is in contact with the first battery cell, the second battery cell, and the heat insulating material.
Method for producing a molded heat-insulating element
A process for producing an ammonia-treated hydrophilic thermal insulation molding which includes treating a thermal insulation molding containing hydrophilic silica with ammonia by introducing the thermal insulation molding into a chamber and supplying gaseous ammonia until a pressure difference p of 20 mbar is achieved. A process for producing a thermal insulation molding containing hydrophobic silica which includes treating the ammonia-treated hydrophilic thermal insulation molding with an organosilicon compound.
