Method for producing a blank, blank and a dental restoration
The invention relates to a blank of a ceramic material, wherein a first ceramic material and then a second ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a die and wherein the materials are pressed and after pressing are sintered. A layer of the first ceramic material is thereby filled into the die and a first cavity formed in the layer, the second ceramic material is then filled into the first open cavity and the materials pressed together and then heat-treated.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DENSE LAYERS THAT CAN BE USED AS ELECTRODES AND/OR ELECTROLYTES FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERIES, AND LITHIUM ION MICROBATTERIES OBTAINED IN THIS WAY
A method for manufacturing a dense layer that includes: supplying a substrate and a suspension of non-agglomerated nanoparticles of a material P; depositing a layer on the substrate using the suspension; drying the layer thus obtained; and densifying the dried layer by mechanical compression and/or heat treatment. The method is characterised in that the suspension of non-agglomerated nanoparticles of material P includes nanoparticles of material P having a size distribution having a value of D50. The distribution includes nanoparticles of material P of a first size D1 between 20 nm and 50 nm, and nanoparticles of material P of a second size D2 characterised by the value D50 being at least five times less than that of D1, or the distribution has a mean size of nanoparticles of material P less than 50 nm, and a standard deviation to mean size ratio greater than 0.6.
Multilayer Component and Process for Producing Multilayer Component
A multilayer component and a mathod for producing a multilayer component are disclosed. In an embodiment the multilayer component includes a ceramic main element being a varistor ceramic and at least one metal structure, wherein the metal structure is cosintered, and wherein the main element is doped with a material of the metal structure in such a way that a diffusion of the material from the metal structure into the main element during a sintering operation is reduced.

This ferrite sintered magnet comprises ferrite phases having a magnetoplumbite type crystal structure. This magnet comprises an element R, an element M, Fe, Co, B, Mn and Cr, the element R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements including Y, the element M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, with Ca being an essential element, and when an atomic composition of metallic elements is represented by R.sub.1-xM.sub.xFe.sub.m-yCo.sub.y, x, y and m satisfy formulae:

Disclosed are a ferrite green sheet comprising a pattern formed in a top surface of the ferrite green sheet, a sintered ferrite sheet, a ferrite composite sheet comprising the same, and a conductive loop antenna module. The pattern comprises a plurality of grooves, each groove has a width W and a rounded shape bottom having a radius of curvature of R, wherein a ratio of W to R (W:R) is in the range of 1:0.1 to 1:0.5.
MnZn-FERRITE AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
A method for producing MnZn-ferrite comprising Fe, Mn and Zn as main components, and at least Co, Si and Ca as sub-components, the main components in the MnZn-ferrite comprising 53-56% by mol (as Fe.sub.2O.sub.3) of Fe, and 3-9% by mol (as ZnO) of Zn, the balance being Mn as MnO, comprising the step of sintering a green body to obtain MnZn-ferrite; the sintering comprising a temperature-elevating step, a high-temperature-keeping step, and a cooling step; the high-temperature-keeping step being conducted at a keeping temperature of higher than 1050° C. and lower than 1150° C. in an atmosphere having an oxygen concentration of 0.4-2% by volume; the oxygen concentration being in a range of 0.001-0.2% by volume during cooling from 900° C. to 400° C. in the cooling step; and the cooling speed between (Tc+70)° C. and 100° C. being 50° C./hour or more, wherein Tc represents a Curie temperature (° C.) calculated from % by mass of Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 and ZnO.
COLORED ZIRCONIA
A particle mixture having: ZrO.sub.2+HfO.sub.2+Y.sub.2O.sub.3+CeO.sub.2; 0%≤Al.sub.2O.sub.3≤1.5%; other oxides than ZrO.sub.2, HfO.sub.2, Y.sub.2O.sub.3, CeO.sub.2 and Al.sub.2O.sub.3: between 0.5% and 12%. The contents of Y.sub.2O.sub.3 and CeO.sub.2, on the basis of the sum of ZrO.sub.2, HfO.sub.2, Y.sub.2O.sub.3 and CeO.sub.2, being such that 1.8%≤Y.sub.2O.sub.3≤3% and 0.1%≤CeO.sub.2≤0.9%. The mixture includes between 0.5% and 10% of particles of an oxide pigment. The content of other oxides and which are not included in the oxide pigment being less than 2%. The particles of the oxide pigment including, for more than 95%, of a material chosen from: oxide(s) of perovskite structure or equivalent of precursor(s) of these oxides, oxides of spinal structure or an equivalent amount of precursor(s) of these oxides, and oxides of hematite structure E.sub.2O.sub.3, oxides of rutile structure FO.sub.2, with “E” and “F” being chosen.
Multi-layered zirconia dental blank with reverse layers, process for its preparation and uses thereof
The present invention relates to a novel multi-layered zirconia dental blank comprising at least two reverse layers. Further, the invention relates to a process for the preparation of such a multi-layered zirconia dental blank. The invention also relates to the use of such a multi-layered zirconia dental blank for the production of a dental article. Preferred dental articles are artificial teeth, inlays, onlays, bridges, crowns, veneers, facings, crown frameworks, bridged frameworks, implants, abutments, copings or orthodontic appliances. Moreover, the invention relates to a process for producing a dental article out of such a multi-layered zirconia dental blank.
Zinc oxide varistor ceramics
Provided according to embodiments of the invention are varistor ceramic formulations that include zinc oxide (ZnO). In particular, varistor ceramic formulations of the invention may include dopants including an alkali metal compound, an alkaline earth compound, an oxide of boron, an oxide of aluminum, or a combination thereof. Varistor ceramic formulations may also include other metal oxides. Also provided according to embodiments of the invention are varistor ceramic materials formed by sintering a varistor ceramic formulation according to an embodiment of the invention. Further provided are varistors formed from such ceramic materials and methods of making such materials.

An object is to provide a ferrite composition suitable for an antenna element with a long communication distance in a high-frequency band (for example, 13.56 MHz), a ferrite plate formed of the ferrite composition, a magnetic member for an antenna element formed of the ferrite plate, and an antenna element provided with a member for an antenna element. A ferrite composition, wherein: main components contain, with Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 conversion, 45.0-49.5 mol % of iron oxide, with CuO conversion, 4.0-16.0 mol % of copper oxide, with ZnO conversion, 19.0-25.0 mol % of zinc oxide, a remaining portion is constituted by nickel oxide, an inevitable impurity is removed with respect to the main components, and as accessory components, with TiO.sub.2 conversion, 0.5-2 weight % of titanium oxide, with CoO conversion, 0.35-2 weight % of cobalt oxide are contained.
