Odour control material, method for preparation of an odour control material and an absorbent product comprising the odour control material
The present invention relates to an odor control material consisting of a water-insoluble particulate odor control agent and a thermoplastic water-soluble carrier matrix encapsulating the odor control agent. The carrier matrix dissolves when in contact with an aqueous solution, such as urine and the odor control material is obtained by means of thermoforming. The invention relates also to a method for the preparation of the odor control material and the use of the odor control material in absorbent products. The present odor control material minimizes dusting problems caused by particulate odor control agents in production processes.
Porous Polyolefin Material
A polyolefin material that comprises a thermoplastic composition is provided. The composition contains a continuous phase that includes a polyolefin matrix polymer and a nanoinclusion additive dispersed within the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. The composition further includes a beta-nucleating agent. A porous network is defined within the thermoplastic composition that includes a plurality of nanopores.
Porous Polyolefin Material Containing a Butene Polymer
A polyolefin material that comprises a thermoplastic composition is provided. The composition contains a continuous phase that includes a polyolefin matrix polymer and a nanoinclusion additive dispersed within the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. The composition further includes a butene polymer. A porous network is defined within the thermoplastic composition that includes a plurality of nanopores.

CD Extensible Nonwoven Composite
A nonwoven composite that has a dimension in a machine direction and a cross-machine direction is provided. The composite comprises a nonwoven facing positioned adjacent to an elastic film. The nonwoven facing contains a spunbond web that is formed by necking a base spunbond web. The base spunbond web includes a plurality of fibers generally oriented in the machine direction and exhibiting a machine direction tensile strength and cross-machine direction tensile strength. The ratio of the machine direction tensile strength to the cross-machine direction tensile strength is about 4:1 or more.
Underpants-type disposable diaper with seepage-minimizing display sheet structure
An underpants-type disposable diaper has outer members that separately or integrally configures a front body and a back body. An inner member is attached to the outer members from the front body to the back body. The outer members have a waist extended section that extends to a side of the waist opening of an edge of the inner member on a waist side. The underpants-type disposable diaper further has a display sheet containing a liquid impervious resin film on an outer side of the inner member in a region in which the outer members and the inner member overlap with each other in at least one of the front body and the back body, in which the display sheet extends from a region overlapping the inner member into the waist extended section.
Shaped nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and wherein in at least one of the microzones the first region exhibits a Contact Angle of greater than 90 degrees, as measured by the Contact Angle Test Method detailed herein.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING SUBSTRATES HAVING ZONAL TREATMENTS
The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent article may include a substantially laterally-extending separation element defining a visual front portion and a visual back portion on a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article. The liquid permeable topsheet may include a first zone in the visual front portion that includes a first geometric treatment and a second zone in the visual back portion that includes a second geometric treatment.
Hot melt adhesive based on low melting point polypropylene homopolymers and methods for making and using the adhesive
A hot melt adhesive for use on porous substrates, wherein the hot melt adhesive has about 10% to about 70% by weight of a polypropylene homopolymer having a DSC melting point of less than 100° C.; about 10% to about 60% of a first tackifying resin having a Ring & Ball Softening Point of about 95° C. to about 140° C.; about 0% to about 65% of a second tackifying resin that is different than the first tackifying resin; about 5% to about 50% of a plasticizer; about 1% to about 40% by weight of a secondary polymer which is either a semi crystalline polymer or wax with an enthalpy of fusion of greater than 30 Joules/gram; about 0.1% to about 5% of a stabilizer or antioxidant; wherein the components total 100% by weight of the composition, and the viscosity of the composition is equal to or less than about 20,000 centipoise (cP) at 163° C. (325° F.).
