Shaped nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric is provided. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein at least one of the surfaces has a TS7 value of less than about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms, and wherein the first surface has a TS7 value that is higher than the second surface TS7 value.
DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ITEM COMPRISING AN ANTI-CHAFING FORMULA BASED ON NATURAL COMPONENTS
The present invention protects a disposable hygienic article characterized in that it has a formulation that promotes the skin care through the use of natural compounds such as the cane wax extract, which has pharmacological properties such as healing and anti-inflammatory, the formulation may also contain agents that helps neutralize unpleasant odors such as chlorophyll, an antimicrobial agent such as grapefruit seeds extract and a fragrance.

Disposable absorbent lift device
The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent pad comprising multiple layers. In particular, the absorbent pad of the present invention maintains skin dryness by absorbing moisture while preventing leakage to the skin or the bed linens, allowing air circulation at the surface of the patient's skin to prevent heat buildup, and is strong enough to allow the patient to be repositioned, even when the pad is wet. In a particular embodiment the first layer is comprised of a fluid-permeable, porous material, the second layer is disposed under the first layer and is comprised of at least one super absorbent material, and a base layer disposed under the second layer.
Formed web comprising chads
A formed web comprising discrete three-dimensional elements formed therein, wherein at least some of the discrete three-dimensional elements comprise chads with corresponding apertures, wherein the aperture has a perimeter, wherein the chad has a length, wherein the chads are attached along a portion of the aperture perimeter which forms a connection segment, wherein the connection segment is less than about 50% of the entire aperture perimeter, and wherein the web comprises a film.
Absorbent article
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an absorbent article that has an improved ability to transfer menstrual blood from a liquid-permeable layer to an absorbent body and can reduce the amount of the menstrual blood remaining in the liquid-permeable layer. To solve this problem, provided is a sanitary napkin provided with a top sheet, a back sheet and an absorbent body that is interposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein convex portions formed in an excretion orifice contact region of the top sheet are coated with a blood lubricity-imparting agent that has a kinetic viscosity of 0.01-80 mm.sup.2/s at 40° C., a water retention rate of 0.01-4.0 mass % and a weight-average molecular weight of less than 1,000.
FIXED AND REMOVABLE ABSORBENT CORES FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES
A multiple use absorbent article includes a chassis absorbent unit having a chassis topsheet, a chassis backsheet, and a chassis absorbent core sandwiched between the chassis topsheet and the chassis backsheet. The article also includes an absorbent insert bonded to the chassis absorbent unit, a removable portion of the absorbent insert configured to be selectively removable from the chassis absorbent unit. The absorbent insert further includes a line of weakness that provides for separation of the absorbent insert into a removable portion configured to be removed from the chassis absorbent unit, and a resident portion that remains bonded to the chassis absorbent unit, wherein the absorbent insert includes a removal device configured to assist a user in separating the removable portion of the absorbent insert from the chassis absorbent unit.
