PYRAN FUSED RING COMPOUND, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to pyran-fused ring compounds, preparation methods thereof and use thereof, especially to pyran-fused ring compounds usable for preparing Halichondrin, Eribulin, or analogues thereof, preparation methods thereof and use thereof. Use of any of the compounds of formula (I) to (XIII) of the present invention in preparation of Halichondrin B, Eribulin, analogues thereof or C1-C13 moieties thereof. Provided in the present invention are intermediates usable for preparing Halichondrin B, Eribulin, or analogues thereof, especially the key product of C1-C13 moieties, preparation methods thereof and use thereof. The starting material for the synthesis pathway of the present invention is inexpensive and readily available with sustainable source and reliable quality. Since the structural characteristics of the reactants of theirself are made full use in choosing the method of constructing the chiral centers, the efficiency in the synthesis is considerably increased, the difficulty in and the risk on quality control of the product are reduced; and using a highly toxic and expensive high-valent osmium catalyst is avoided, which have the cost and environmental friendliness significantly improved.

The present invention is directed to a method of making an asymmetric polysulfide, comprising the step of simultaneously reacting an olefinically unsaturated compound, elemental sulfur, and a thiol in the presence of a catalytic amount of a base to produce the asymmetric polysulfide.

A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF PALBOCICLIB
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of palbociclib utilizing a silyl-protected crotonic acid derivative to produce a silyl-protected 2-chloro-4-(cyclopentylamino)-5-(1-methyl-2-carboxy-ethen-1-yl)pyrmidine followed by intramolecular cyclization of the pyrmidine intermediate to produce 2-chloro-8-cyclopentyl-5-methyl-8H-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7-one which is then converted to palbociclib.
PRODUCTION OF ISOCYANATE FUNCTIONAL ORGANOSILANES
Isocyanate-functional silanes are prepared in high yield by pyrolysis of an O-carbamate prepared by reaction of a dialkylcarbonate with an aminoalkyl-functional silane in the presence of a basic catalyst, where the catalyst is neutralized by an acid which has a pK.sub.a of all protolysis stages of not more than 4. The neutralized or partially neutralized catalyst need not be removed prior to pyrolysis. The isocyanato-functional silanes exhibit higher storage stability as compared to those prepared from O-carbamates where catalyst neutralization is effected by weak acids.

An aqueous, storage-stable and preferably colorless composition containing N-vinylbenzylaminoalkyl-functional siloxanols is derived from a reaction of hydrolysis products and optionally, condensation products of hydrolysis products, of at least one aminoalkyl-functional alkoxysilane or a mixture of aminoalkyl-functional alkoxysilanes with vinylbenzyl halide. The composition contains not less than 1% by weight of N-vinylbenzylaminoalkyl-functional siloxanols and/or salts of the protonated N-vinylbenzylaminoalkyl-functional siloxanols and water, based on the weight of the composition. The composition has a pH of 2 to 3.5. A process can be used for producing this composition.
