Systems and methods for dispensing sterile items
A cartridge system comprising a carrier reel, distal and proximal take-up reels, a main guide post adapted to engage the main guide support, a first strip guide post, a second strip guide post, and a packaging strip. The packaging strip comprises first and second strip portions detachably secured to define a plurality of item chambers. At least one item is enclosed within each of the item chambers. The carrier reel is adapted to store the packaging strip. The distal take-up reel is operatively connected to the first strip portion. The proximal take-up reel is operatively connected to the second strip portion. Rotation of the distal and proximal take-up reels unwinds the packaging strip from the carrier reel such that the first strip portion is wound onto the distal take-up reel, and the second strip portion is wound onto the proximal take-up reel.
Packaging for a medicinal product
The present invention relates to a reel for a plaster strip roll with one or two side discs and/or a cover/protective ring for a plaster strip roll, which optionally has a tear-off edge, as well as the production thereof. The reel or the cover/protective ring, respectively, comprises an antimicrobially effective substance, wherein, on the outer surface of the reel or of the cover/protective ring, respectively, there is contact between the antimicrobially effective substance and the environment.
BANDAGE COMPOSITION DISPENSER
The present disclosure generally relates to a dispenser and/or applicator. In some embodiments, the dispenser and/or applicator includes a nozzle and a cap. In some embodiments, the dispenser and/or applicator is used to dispense a bandage or dressing composition that forms a durable film bandage or skin protectant.
Bandage and medical fabrics dispensers
Disclosed herein is a dispenser for adhesive fabrics or tapes, such as bandages or other adhesive medical fabrics or correction tapes. The dispenser has a case in which a supply reel and a take-up reel are mounted. A belt having adhesive fabrics or tapes thereon extends from the supply reel through one or more openings to the exterior of the case, and thence to a take-up reel. The supply reel and the take-up reel are coupled so that the belt is wrapped around the take-up reel as it is unwound from the supply reel and advances to move an adhesive fabric or tape to the exterior of the case for dispensing. The dispenser may optionally have an activation device that allows a user to extend a portion of an adhesive fabric outside the dispenser and dispense and apply the adhesive fabric to a human skin with one hand.
Systems and methods for treating female incontinence and pelvic nerve dysfunction
Systems and methods for neuromodulation of a female patient suffering from a pelvic condition, such as incontinence, are disclosed. A mechanical stimulus such as pressure, tension, traction, friction, or vibration for example can be applied to one, two, or more clitoral structures sufficient to cause a physiologic stimulus or inhibition, such as neuromodulation to treat or prevent the pelvic condition.
SEALSKIN APPLICATION SYSTEM
A system for providing a protective covering for a human on non-human animal comprising a supply of dispensable plastic stretch film having a predetermined thickness and width and a dispenser-applicator for dispensing a predetermined length of film from the supply thereof and applying the predetermined length of the film to the human or non-human animal.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PACKAGE STRUCTURE
A method of producing a packaging structure, including the steps: coating at least one surface of a first sheet base material and/or a second sheet base material with a synthetic polyisoprene latex having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 -5,000,000 and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000-300,000, sandwiching an article to be packaged in a state wherein the first and second sheet base material are in contact with each other via a latex coated surface formed on the first and/or second sheet base material to thereby obtain a laminated body, pressing a portion where at least the first and second sheet base material of the laminated body are in contact with each other via the latex coated surface at a temperature of 100 C. or less to thereby obtain a pressed laminated body, and performing a sterilization treatment on the pressed laminated body.
SELF ADHESIVE BANDAGE ROLL DISPENSER SYSTEM
A self adhesive bandage roll dispenser system including a dispenser unit having a dispensing aperture, a prong assembly, a wheel mechanism, and a control button, a series of gauze bandages configured in a roll each including, an adhesive-side, a non-adhesive-side, a first-end, and a second-end. The roll comprises a series of individual gauze bandages connected at perforated sections. The gauze bandages are dispensed through the dispensing aperture and may be removed at the perforated sections. The prong assembly removes paper layering on the gauze bandages for ready application. The present invention provides users with an easily-accessible first aid tool capable of dispensing and applying gauze bandages to a wound.
UNIT FOR HEMOSTASIS AND ARRANGEMENT CONTAINING THE SAME
The invention relates to a unit for hemostasis. The unit is configured to be directly applied to a bleeding wound and comprises an envelope enclosing an inner space as well as an effective amount of a hemostatic material disposed within the inner space. Furthermore, the invention relates to an arrangement of two or more such units for hemostasis, the units being coupled to each other. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for producing an arrangement of units for hemostasis. In accordance with the method, an effective amount of a hemostatic material is disposed within an interior region of a starting material, and neck regions are formed on both sides of the charge so as to form an envelope enclosing the charge.
Bandage Administering Assembly
A bandage administering assembly for releasing a selected amount of bandage includes a grip and a mount that is attached to the grip. A roller is rotatably mounted on the mount. A bandage is wound up to define a bandage roll and the bandage roll is positioned on the roller. A free end of the bandage roll is pulled to unwind the bandage roll from the roller. A dispenser is attached to the mount. The bandage is extended through the dispenser to define an exposed portion of the bandage. The dispenser is used to selectively cut off the exposed portion.
