Sublimation Ink for Transfer Printing
The present application provides a sublimation ink which is capable of being transferred to natural fiber fabrics, such as cotton and linen, in addition to synthetic fabrics, such as polyester, nylon, etc., and shows significantly improved color fastness. The sublimation ink may include a resin containing at least one active hydrogen, a crosslinking agent having at least two isocyanate (—NCO) groups, and one or more colorants. The sublimation ink may also include one or more carriers, binders, thickeners, and/or solvents. An image can be printed on a transfer medium (e.g. paper) at room temperature with the sublimation ink using conventional offset printer so that the sublimation ink remains inactive. The image can be subsequently transferred onto any desired fabrics under heat and pressure, in which the sublimation ink is activated and bonds the colorant to the fabrics with excellent color effect.

Composition for one-component polyurethane foams having low free monomeric MDI content
A one component precursor for the polymeric foam (OCF) composition comprising a very low amount of free monomeric MDI. The present OCF composition may be obtained without any free MDI removal step, and without the addition of extra solvent to compensate for the substantially lower amount of free MDI, compared with traditional compositions. The present composition comprises a source of free NCO of functionality of at least 2.6, a tri- or higher functional alcohol, all polyols being characterized by a rather low molecular weight and at least a specific mono-functional alcohol as well as an isocyanate end-capped prepolymer of toluene diisocyanate (=end capped TDI). The OCF composition is suitable for being dispensed from a pressurized can with a blowing agent.

Method for deblocking a blocked isocyanate and method of making a polyurethane
A method for deblocking a blocked isocyanate is described herein. The method includes contacting a blocked isocyanate and a halide ion source under conditions effective to provide a deblocked isocyanate. A method of making a polyurethane is also disclosed. The method of making a polyurethane includes combining a blocked isocyanate, a polyol, and a halide ion source in the presence of solvent and under conditions effective to provide the polyurethane.
Urethane adhesive composition
An object of the present invention is to provide a urethane adhesive composition having excellent initial adhesiveness and excellent adhesion durability. The present invention is a urethane adhesive composition containing a urethane prepolymer (A) having an isocyanate group, an isocyanate compound (B) having an isocyanurate structure and an isocyanate group, and an adduct of a compound represented by Formula (X) below (in Formula (X), R.sup.11 and R.sup.12 each independently represent a hydrocarbon group) and a phenol compound. ##STR00001##
Polymerisable plasticiser, liquid polyurethane resin composition comprising same and uses thereof
The present invention relates to a polymerisable plasticiser formed by a hydrocarbon chain, one end of which bears more than one isocyanate function, said hydrocarbon chain comprising and/or being substituted by an aromatic ring and/or an aliphatic ring and/or said hydrocarbon chain is substituted by at least two hydrocarbon chains that can comprise an unsaturation, and the number of isocyanate functions being strictly greater than 1, preferably greater than 1.2, and, more preferably, grater than 1.5 but less than or equal to 2.2. The invention also relates to liquid polyurethane resin compositions and, in particular, stable, ready-to-use liquid polyurethane resin compositions comprising said plasticiser. The invention further relates to methods for replacing all or part of the exogenous plasticiser and/or solvent in a polyurethane resin by adding said polymerisable plasticiser.
