POLYMER, POLYMER MODIFIED TITANIUM DIOXIDE PIGMENT, AND METHOD OF FORMING A PIGMENTED PAINT FORMULATION
A new polymer that is capable of forming a composite with titanium dioxide particles and latex particles when admixed therewith is provided. The new polymer includes a water soluble polymer backbone, a first functional group attached to the polymer backbone and having an affinity for latex, and a second functional group attached to the polymer backbone and capable of forming a bond with titanium dioxide. A polymer modified titanium dioxide pigment and a method of forming a pigmented paint formulation are also provided.
Resin formulations, resin polymers and composite materials comprising the resin polymers
A resin formulation is provided. The resin formulation includes carboxy anhydride at 100 parts by weight, first diisocyanate having the following formula (I) at 20-90 parts by weight, second diisocyanate having the following formulas (II), (III) or a combination thereof at 45-103 parts by weight, and bismaleimide (BMI) at 50-200 parts by weight. A resin polymer and a composite material including the resin polymer are also provided. ##STR00001## In formulas (I), (II) and (III), A includes benzene or cyclohexane, Q includes C1-C12 alkylene, O, S or SO.sub.2, X includes H, CH.sub.3 or CH.sub.2CH.sub.3, R.sub.1 includes H, CH.sub.3 or CH.sub.2CH.sub.3, and E includes H, CH.sub.3 or CH.sub.2CH.sub.3.
Liquid coverlays for flexible printed circuit boards
The present invention relates to curable liquid coverlay compositions comprising polyamideimide resins for use in curable compositions for use as protective coverlay coatings for metal clad laminate materials in electronic components, such as flexible circuit boards. In particular, the invention relates to liquid coverlay compositions comprising polyamideimides having a terminal isocyanate group blocked by a thermally-dissociatable isocyanate-blocking group and the use of such compositions in preparation of flexible electronic components.
Polyamideimide adhesives for printed circuit boards
The present invention relates to curable, liquid, adhesive compositions comprising polyamideimide resins for use in bonding layers of material in metal clad laminate materials for electronic components, such as flexible circuit boards. In particular, the invention relates to liquid adhesive compositions comprising polyamideimides having a terminal isocyanate group blocked by a thermally-dissociatable isocyanate-blocking group and the use of such compositions in preparation of flexible electronic components.
A COATING COMPOSITION
A package coating on at least a portion thereof with a coating, the coating being derived from a coating composition, the coating composition comprising: a) a polyamide imide (PAI) resin, and b) a crosslinking agent comprising an isocyanate material and an epoxy material, wherein the coating composition is substantially free of pyrrolidone solvents.
Polyurethane gels
The present invention relates to gel compositions comprising a polyurethane elastomer. The polyurethane elastomer is formed from the reaction of a polyol, a polyisocyanate, and a polyurethane reaction catalyst in the presence of a topically acceptable carrier fluid. In some embodiments, the gel composition comprises a personal active ingredient or a healthcare active ingredient, which may be incorporated into the gel composition via a pre-load method or a post-load method. Also provided herein are gel pastes and topical formulations containing the polyurethane elastomers, and methods of making the same.
A COATING COMPOSITION
A coating composition comprising: (a) a polyurethane imide (PUI) resin, and (b) optionally a crosslinking material; wherein the coating composition is substantially free of pyrrolidone solvents. The invention extends to a package coated on at least a portion thereof with a coating, the coating being derived from said coating composition.
