A composition comprising

(a1) a polyether polyol,

(a2) a polyolefin polyol and

(a3) a polyester polyol obtainable by epoxidation of an unsaturated fatty acid ester and subsequent ring-opening reaction with a compound containing active hydrogen, can be used for the preparation of PUR foam which distinguishes by low-temperature flexibility and low dielectric loss and is suitable for filling the gap between the condenser core and the outer composite or porcelain insulator in the manufacture of resin impregnated paper (RIP) bushings.

Polyurethane resin, polyurethane resin composition, and method for manufacturing polyurethane resin

The present invention relates to a polyurethane resin including, as constituent units, a diol (a1) having a number average molecular weight of 500 to 10,000, an organic diisocyanate (b), and a chain extender (a2). The total concentration of urethane groups and urea groups in the polyurethane resin is 1.25 to 2.50 mmol/g based on the weight of the polyurethane resin. Hard segment domains of the polyurethane resin have an average domain size of 20 to 30 nm as measured with an atomic force microscope.

POLYURETHANE FOAM-FORMING COMPOSITIONS, METHODS OF MAKING LOW DENSITY FOAMS USING SUCH COMPOSITIONS, AND FOAMS FORMED THEREFROM
20180022885 · 2018-01-25 ·

Disclosed are polyurethane foam-forming compositions with a phase stable isocyanate-reactive composition that includes a halogenated olefin blowing agent that has low or no ozone depletion potential and low global warming potential. Such polyurethane foam-forming compositions are suitable for spray application to produce polyurethane foams that are believed to exhibit good fire resistance properties, low smoke generation and low or no scorch due to reduced exotherm, thereby making them particularly suitable for use, for example, as relatively thick wall and/or roof insulation.

ISOCYANATE-REACTIVE COMPOSITIONS, RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAMS AND METHODS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION
20240417503 · 2024-12-19 ·

Isocyanate-reactive compositions and thermally insulating rigid polyurethane foams, such as those that can be used as a thermal insulation medium in the construction of refrigerated storage devices, are disclosed. The compositions include a halogenated olefin blowing agent and a polymer polyol. The polymer polyol includes (1) a base polyol having an OH number of at least 200 mg KOH/g; and (2) polymer particles dispersed in the base polymer, wherein the polymer particles comprise the reaction product of an ethylenically unsaturated composition comprising an ethylenically unsaturated fluorinated compound.

Inherent flame retardant rigid polyurethane foam

The present invention provides a kind of inherent flame retardant rigid polyurethane foam. The production formula comprises 100 to 105 pbw of polyether polyol and reactive phosphorus-containing flame retardant, 2.5 to 3.5 pbw of amine catalyst, 0.8 to 2.5 pbw of tertiary amine catalyst, 0.8 to 2.5 pbw of foam stabilizer, 0.5 to 1.5 pbw of blowing agent, 135 to 150 pbw of isocyanates, and 0.05 to 0.1 pbw of organo-metallic catalyst, wherein the reactive phosphorus-containing flame retardant is 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol. The active monomers containing flame retarding elements are introduced into main chain and side chain of PU for modification, which permanently improves the flame retardancy of PU without obvious effect on other performance of PU matrix.
