Sewing-free hot melt adhesive TPU leather and preparation method thereof

The present invention provides a novel sewing-free hot melt adhesive TPU leather and a preparation method thereof. The hot melt adhesive TPU leather comprises a release paper, a hot melt adhesive film, and a TPU film. The release paper comprises a bottom paper layer, an adhesive layer, a plastic layer, a transition layer, and a release layer; a hot melt adhesive raw material comprises polyester polyol, diisocyanate, polyether polyol, and a plurality of additives; and a TPU raw material comprises polymer polyol, 1,4-cyclohexane-diisocyanate, a chain extender, and a plurality of functional additives. According to the present invention, innovations are conducted on raw material components of the release paper, the hot melt adhesive, and the TPU film, and extrusion shaping is conducted by utilizing the hot melt adhesive with strong plasticity and the TPU thin film; and the prepared sewing-free TPU leather has the technical advantages of firm adhesion, durability, environmentally-friendly materials, no invisible harm to human body, and the like.

POLYURETHANES

Partially crosslinked polyurethane polymers comprising diisocyanates and aliphatic hydrocarbon soft segments with a short-chain diol chain extender and a multifunctional amine and/or alcohol crosslinker to provide a polyurethane polymer with useful properties for the production of medical implant devices such as heart valves, are described. The polymers have an unexpected linear elastic region in a range from 5-100% and preferably between 10-35%. In some embodiments the polyurethanes are a thermally convertible gel formulation which may be converted to a liquid formulation by extended heating to render the polymer suitable for solvent processing techniques such as casting, spraying, spinning, etc. The invention also provides for living hinge polyurethane polymers which are thermally modifiable from a gel to a liquid and reaction injection moulded (RIM) polyurethanes with an enhanced flex life.

HYDROXY FUNCTIONAL ALKYL POLYUREA

A hydroxy functional alkyl polyurea is disclosed having the formula:

wherein R comprises the residue of an isocyanurate, biuret, allophonate, glycoluril, benzoguanamine, and/or polyetheramine; or R comprises the reaction product of isocyanate and alkanol amine, but the isocyanate is not HDI when the alkanol amine is diethanol amine or monomethanol amine and the isocyanate is not IPDI when the alkanol amine is monomethanol amine; wherein each R1 is independently a hydrogen, alkyl having at least 1 carbon, or a hydroxy functional alkyl having 2 or more carbons and at least one R1 is a hydroxy functional alkyl having 2 or more carbons; and n is 2-6.

Further disclosed is a coating comprising: a. A film forming resin; and b. A hydroxy functional alkyl polyurea crosslinker having the formula:

##STR00002## wherein R2 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C36 alkyl group, an aromatic group, the residue of an isocyanurate, biuret, allophanate, glycoluril, benzoguanamine and/or polyetheramine wherein each R1 is independently a hydrogen, and alkyl having at least 1 carbon, or a hydroxy functional alkyl having 2 or more carbons and at least one R1 is a hydroxy functional alkyl having 2 or more carbons; and n is 2-6.

Substrates coated at least in part with such a coating are also disclosed.

Aqueous coating agent and gas barrier film

An aqueous coating composition includes an aqueous polyurethane resin including a polyurethane resin having an acid group and a polyamine compound, a water-soluble polymer, and an inorganic layered mineral. The aqueous polyurethane resin is included at a solid content of 50-80 mass %, the water-soluble polymer is included at a solid content of 5-20 mass %, and the inorganic layered mineral is included at a solid content of 10-30 mass %, relative to a total solid content of the aqueous coating composition. The aqueous coating composition has a total solid concentration of not less than 5 mass % and a viscosity of not larger than 50 mPa-second at 23 C.
