Stentless biopolymer heart valve replacement capable of living tissue regeneration

A template for a valve construct for replacement of at least one of a mitral valve and a tricuspid valve includes at least an anterior leaflet portion and at least a posterior leaflet portion, each leaflet portion having a proximal edge, a distal edge, and side edges extending between the proximal edge and the distal edge. The template further includes a plurality of substantially straight elongated chordae portions each having a proximal end connected to the distal edge of one of the at least two leaflet portions and a distal end extending therefrom and one or more papillary muscle head portions formed at a commissure between distal ends of at least two of the plurality of chordae portions. A total width of the leaflet portions of the template is substantially equal to a circumference of a native annulus of a heart valve.

A prosthetic valve forming template having an annulus stitching part to be stitched to a mitral annulus, a papillary muscle stitching part to be stitched to papillary muscles, the prosthetic valve forming template including: one base line; two drooping lines suspending from both ends of the base line; two sidelines extending respectively downward and inward in a semi-parabolic manner from lower ends of the two drooping lines; two first horizontal lines extending respectively inward and horizontally from lower ends of the two sidelines; two first curved lines extending respectively upward in a parabolic manner from inner ends of the two first horizontal lines; two second horizontal lines extending respectively inward and horizontally from inner ends of the two first curved lines; and one second curved line extending upward in a parabolic manner from inner ends of the two second horizontal lines.

Methods and devices for attaching or reattaching soft tissue to bone

Embodiments of the invention include implants, instruments, and methods for attaching or reattaching soft tissue (200, 2200) to a bone (100), that enable independent tensioning of multiple connectors such as sutures (60, 160, 2060, 2160) and enable redundant fixation between bone (100) and soft tissue (200, 2200). Some embodiments provide for improved accuracy of the placement of substantially parallel tunnels through which soft tissue (200, 2200) to bone (100) connectors such as sutures (60, 160, 2060, 2160) are passed.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ANATOMIC MAPPING FOR PROSTHETIC IMPLANTS

A method of generating a patient-specific prosthetic includes receiving anatomic imaging data representative of a portion of a patient's anatomy. A first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data is defined. The first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data is modified. A second digital representation of the portion of the patient's anatomy is defined based on the modifying of the first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data. A patient-specific prosthetic template of the portion of the patient's anatomy is generated based at least in part on the second digital representation of the anatomic imaging data.

STENT

The stent having self-expandability, the stent including: a body part formed in a tubular shape by a wire; and a first locking part and a second locking part protruding outward in a radial direction of the body part and formed by the wire. A first angle formed by a protrusion direction of the first locking part and an axial direction of the body part is different from a second angle formed by a protrusion direction of the second locking part and the axial direction.
