Heat Recovery System
The heat recovery system includes an oven having a treatment air with a treatment air temperature and a treatment air dew point temperature to treat a product or product in process. A zone outlet exhaust waste treatment air following the treatment of the product. A preheating zone includes a preheating inlet for the introduction of preheating air having a preheating air temperature and a preheating air dew point temperature to preheat the product. A transfer duct extends between the zone outlet of the oven and the preheating zone to transfer a portion of waste treatment air from the oven to the preheating zone to create the preheating air to preheat additional product. The preheating air preheats the product in the preheating zone to a product temperature that is at least equal to the treatment air dew point temperature to eliminate surface condensation on the product during treatment in the oven.

The subject matter described herein relates to systems for treatment of a product for decontamination of the product. The product may include agricultural, food and related product. The system comprises a decontamination chamber (102, 102-1) having an inlet (120, 120-2) to receive the product; multiple first channels (143, 202, 302, 402, 602, 702) in the decontamination chamber (102), wherein the multiple first channels (143, 202, 302, 402, 602, 702) are distributed across the longitudinal span of the decontamination chamber (102, 102-1); a trioxygen generator (106) with a feedline (128) coupled to the multiple first channels (143, 202, 302, 402, 602, 702), wherein the trioxygen generator (106) is to provide trioxygen gas to the multiple first channels (143, 202, 302, 402, 602, 702) to disseminate trioxygen gas onto the product in the decontamination chamber (102, 102-1); and an outlet (145, 145-2) to output the trioxygen treated product.
TREATMENT OF AGRICULTURAL, FOOD AND RELATED PRODUCTS FOR ELIMINATING CONTAMINANTS AND ENCHANCING SHELF-LIFE
The subject matter described herein relates to systems for treatment of a product for decontamination of the product. The product may include agricultural, food and related product. SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INFRARED DEHYDROFREEZING AND DEHYDRO FREEZE-DRYING
The present invention is directed to a method for combining dehydrofreezing and medium to far spectrum infrared radiation to preserve biological material. IR transfers energy and penetrates food products, thereby removing naturally present moisture. The present invention provides a novel method of combining pH treatment, infrared radiation, freezing, and vacuum-sealing for preserving biological material. Biological materials are preserved through either a pH treatment or with heat to remove harmful pathogens, followed by processing using far spectrum infrared radiation which may be powered by either gas or electric means. The processed materials undergo a freezing process which may be done using Individual Quick Freezing or blast freezing methods The frozen processed material is then packaged via vacuum sealing.

Disclosed are a method and/or system for automatically controlling ventilation of a grain storage bin to maintain the grain parameters within a predefined range. The disclosed system includes a ventilation control system and a plurality of ventilation fans installed to the storage bin. The ventilation control system includes a fan switch control unit, a weather station, and a plurality of grain characteristics monitoring devices. The fan switch control unit includes a first switch and a second switch to constantly operate the plurality of ventilation fans on receiving an alarm signal from the weather station and/or the grain characteristics monitoring devices. The weather station transmits the alarm signal to deactivate plurality of ventilation fans when the captured external parameters deviate from predefined external temperature-humidity range. The grain characteristics monitoring devices transmit the alarm signal to activate plurality of ventilation fans when the captured grain parameters deviate from predefined grain temperature-humidity range.
