An anti fogging agent composition includes a copolymer (A), a polyfunctional blocked isocyanate compound (B), and a surfactant (C). The copolymer (A) is formed of 35 to 90 parts by weight of the monomer (A-1), 5 to 60 parts by weight of the monomer (A-2), and 5 to 30 parts by weight of the monomer (A-3) per 100 parts by weight of the copolymer (A). An NCO/OH ratio obtained by dividing an isocyanate group content (NCO) of the polyfunctional blocked isocyanate compound (B) by a hydroxyl group content (OH) of the copolymer (A) is within a range from 0.1 to 1.5. The surfactant (C) includes 1.00 to 10.0 parts by weight of the anionic surfactant (C-1) and 0.01 to 3.00 parts by weight of the cationic surfactant (C-2) per 100 parts by weight of the copolymer (A).

The present invention relates to a photochromic article that includes a substrate and a photochromic layer formed from a curable photochromic composition. The photochromic composition includes a polyol component that includes a polycarbonate diol, an isocyanate component that includes an unblocked polyfunctional isocyanate and/or a blocked polyfunctional isocyanate, and at least one photochromic compound. The equivalents ratio of blocked/unblocked isocyanate equivalents of the isocyanate component to hydroxyl equivalents of the polyol component is at least 5:1. The photochromic article exhibits a T.sub.1/2 (Fade Half Life) at 23° C. of less than or equal to 70 seconds.

The present invention relates to a process for bonding substrates, wherein the bond is a bond that can be released by heat treatment at a temperature of 50° C. to less than 200° C. and a composition is used to produce the bond, said composition containing a polymer of formula (I): Q-(O—C(O)—CR′R″—C(O)—R).sub.x, where: Q=a polymer group, selected from a polyester group and/or a polyolefin group, wherein the polymer group does not contain any components that result from the use of molecules having (meth)acrylic acid units as monomers; x is greater than or equal to 1; R.sup.1=R.sup.2 or O—R.sup.3; R2=a hydrocarbon group, which can be substituted with halogen atoms, comprising 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R3=a hydrocarbon group, which can be substituted with halogen atoms, comprising 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a polymer group; R′=—H, or a hydrocarbon group, which can be substituted with halogen atoms, comprising 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a group of formula (II): —C(O)—NH-Q′, where Q′=an organic group which can also have one or more silicon atoms; and R″=—H or a group of formula (II), with the proviso that if neither of the groups R′ and R″ is a group of formula (II), then at least one of the groups R′ or R″ is —H.

Particularly, the composition for reactive hot melt resin further includes a heat-resistance enhancer, preferably nanosilica, for preventing the resin from melting down during no-sew press treatment to provide a performance to help maintenance of adhesion.

The present invention provides a blocked polyisocyanate composition comprising a blocked polyisocyanate formed through blocking at least a part of isocyanate groups possessed by a polyisocyanate derived from one or two or more diisocyanates selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic diisocyanate and an alicyclic diisocyanate with an active methylene-based compound comprising a malonic acid diester, wherein a specific molar ratio calculated from contents (mol %) of isocyanurate groups, iminooxadiazinedione groups, uretdione groups, and allophanate groups is 0.05 or more and 0.60 or less.

Provided are adhesives containing a phenoxy resin grafted with methyl methacrylate (MMA) and/or methacrylic acid (MAA), and including a uretdione or a silane. The adhesive compositions are completely or substantially absent free isocyanate. The grafted phenoxy resin forms crosslinking which allows the adhesive to chemisorb to a metal surface, diffuse and entangle in a urethane elastomer and/or provide crossbridging and/or crosslinking across an interface of the adhesive and a cast urethane. Methods of adhering a castable urethane to a substrate, using the provided adhesives, are also provided.
