USE OF A THERMOSETTING POLYMERIC POWDER COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to the use of a thermosetting polymeric powder composition in a 3D dry printing process to produce a 3D duroplast object, the composition comprising at least one curable polymeric binder material with free functional groups, wherein during the 3D dry printing process the formed object is only partially cured to a curing degree of below 90%, preferably below 60%, most preferably between 35% and 60%, and the printing process is being followed by a post treatment comprising a heat treatment step to fully cure the printed object into a 3D duroplast object.

The present invention relates to a powder coating composition for preparing a dielectric coating. The powder coating composition includes: (a) an epoxy functional polymer; (b) a poly-carboxylic acid functional polyester polymer reactive with the epoxy functional polymer and which has an acid value of less than 100 mg KOH/g; and (c) a poly-carboxylic acid functional (meth)acrylate polymer reactive with the epoxy functional polymer. Further, if a colorant is present, the powder coating composition comprises 35 weight % or less of the colorant, based on the total solids weight of the coating composition.

There is provided herein a flame retardant and curing agent compound for curing thermosetting resins, e.g., epoxy resins, a composition comprising a thermosetting resin, e.g., an epoxy resin and the curing agent, an article comprising the curing agent, and a method of making the curing agent.
ACTIVE ESTER CURING AGENT COMPOUND FOR THERMOSETTING RESINS, FLAME RETARDANT COMPOSITION COMPRISING SAME, AND ARTICLES MADE THEREFROM
There is provided herein a composition containing (A) a phosphorus-containing aromatic polyester of the general formula (I) described herein which has a weight average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 20,000 and which is concurrently a flame retardant O and an active ester curing agent, and, (B) a solvent, such as a solvent commonly used in thermosetting resin formulations and copper-cias laminate preparation.
POLYESTER-EPOXIDE POLYMER COMPOSITIONS
Polyester-epoxide polymer (PEEP) compositions are disclosed. The PEEP compositions comprise a reaction product of a polyepoxide compound (eq. wt. 125 to 250 g/eq.) and a polyester polyol composition. The ratio of epoxy equivalents to hydroxyl equivalents is within the range of 0.8 to 3.5. The PEEP composition has a T.sub.g within the range of 40 C. to 60 C. Elevated temperature-cure and low temperature-cure processes for making the PEEP compositions are also disclosed. In a simple yet innovative approach, a new class of polymers useful for adhesives, coatings, elastomers, and other valuable products is assembled from readily available starting materials without reliance on polyisocyanates or polyamines. The PEEP compositions have increased elongation and lower T.sub.g when compared with traditional epoxy products.
RESIN COMPOSITION, CURED RESIN PRODUCT, WIRING BOARD, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR WIRING BOARD
By producing a resin composition containing (A) an epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule thereof and containing a hexanediol structure, (B) an ultraviolet ray active ester group-containing compound, and (C) an epoxy resin curing accelerator, even in a state where an irregular shape of the surface of an insulating resin layer is small, a high adhesive force to a wiring conductor can be easily revealed.
POLYESTER-BASED POLYMERS HAVING IMPROVED HYDROLYTIC STABILITY
The present invention relates to a polymer obtainable by reaction of a polyester comprising a quantity of carboxylic terminal groups with a chain extending compound wherein the chain extending compound is selected from an aromatic bis(oxirane ether) or an aromatic bis(methyloxirane ether). Such polymer may have a desired resistance to hydrolytic degradation.
POLYESTER RESIN COMPRISING BIOMASS-DERIVED MONOMER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND POWDER PAINT COMPOSITION COMPRISING RESIN
The present invention relates to a polyester resin comprising a biomass-derived monomer and a preparation method therefor, and a powder paint composition comprising the resin and, more specifically, to a polyester resin and a preparation method therefor, and a powder paint composition comprising the resin, wherein the polyester resin comprises, as a repeat unit, a biomass-derived unit having improved reactivity and being derived from an anhydrosugar alcohol or a derivative thereof, thereby solving the problem of the depletion of petroleum resources corresponding to limited resources, exhibiting eco-friendliness and high-heat resistance, and remarkably improving weather resistance and flexibility of a coating film when used for a powder paint.
