Polyolefin Compositions, Articles Thereof, and Methods Thereof
The present disclosure relates to polymer compositions, articles formed from polymer compositions, methods of making polymer compositions, and methods of making articles including polymer compositions. In at least one embodiment, a composition includes: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin. A composition of the present disclosure may further include a polypropylene polymer. A polar polymer may be an ethylene-acrylic-acid-copolymer, ethylene acrylate copolymer, a polyvinyl acetate, or combination(s) thereof. In at least one embodiment, a film includes a composition having: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin.
MODIFIED ETHYLENE-VINYL ALCOHOL RESIN, AND GAS BARRIER MATERIAL
A modified EVOH resin having a primary hydroxyl group in its side chain. In the modified EVOH resin, the proportion of an ethylene structural unit is 1 to 16.5 mol %, and the proportion of a structural unit containing the side-chain primary hydroxyl group is not less than 2.5 mol %.
RESIN COMPOSITION
The present disclosure provides a resin composition includes a low-density bio-polyethylene resin (A), an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) in which the ethylene content is 20 to 60 mol %, and at least one component (C) selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an acid-modified polymer, and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer in which the ethylene content is 70 to 90 mol %, the low-density bio-polyethylene resin (A) being a low-density bio-polyethylene resin other than a linear low-density bio-polyethylene resin, the weight ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) being 10/90 to 49/51.
RESIN COMPOSITION
The present disclosure provides a resin composition includes a low-density bio-polyethylene resin (A), an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) in which the ethylene content is 20 to 60 mol %, and at least one component (C) selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an acid-modified polymer, and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer in which the ethylene content is 70 to 90 mol %, the low-density bio-polyethylene resin (A) being a low-density bio-polyethylene resin other than a linear low-density bio-polyethylene resin, the weight ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) being 10/90 to 49/51.
POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION AND SLIDING MEMBER
The present invention provides a polyamide resin composition (nylon composition) and a sliding member using this, which have excellent moldability and sliding properties. The polyamide resin composition contains, as additives, polyethylene resin of 5 to 20% by mass, polytetrafluoroethylene resin of 5 to 30% by mass, modified polyolefin resin of 0.5 to 5% by mass, and phosphate of 1 to 5% by mass, in addition to polyamide resin that is a main component. The sliding member is produced by molding this polyamide resin composition.
DEGRADABLE EVOH HIGH-BARRIER COMPOSITE FILM
A degradable EVOH high-barrier composite film, characterized in that the materials of various layers in the composite film all obtain approximately-consistent biodegradability by introducing biomass, and the additive amount of the additive master batch in the materials of each layer is controlled within the range of 0.3-15% of the total mass of the materials of the corresponding layer; the hydrophilic activity of the hydrophilic groups in the additive master batch should be greater than or equal to that of the hydrophilic groups in the materials of each layer; by adding the additive master batch, the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms of the materials of various layers tend to be consistent, namely, the bioactivities tend to be consistent, so that the degradation rates of the materials of various layers in the composite film tend to be consistent. The present invention makes contribution to obtaining approximately-consistent bioactivities and approximately-consistent biodegradation rates by balancing the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms in the materials of various layers, and the appearance, the functions and the physical and mechanical properties of a product remain unchanged.

A resin composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of 20 to 60 mol %; (B) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of not less than 70 mol %; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the resin composition. The resin composition is resistant to coloration.
Resin composition, melt-forming material, multilayer structure, and agricultural film
A resin composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of 20 to 60 mol %; (B) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of not less than 70 mol %; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the resin composition. The resin composition is resistant to coloration.

Provided is a resin composition (A) including the following components (1) and (2): (1) a composition (a1) including at least two kinds of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers having different vinyl acetate contents; and (2) a copolymer (a2) that is at least one copolymer selected from an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer and an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer.
